Ocean Curry Fish Head

Tried the Assam curry fish head which is their main point: everything else serves mostly as garnishing. Fair price, excellent curry if you know what to expect. Avoid the crazy lunch hour rush though.

Fish head curry, prawn, mutton rendang, omellete, and some vegies. Reasonable price at CBD area.

Not the typical fish curry. Simply love the tangy taste. They also have other options for those who don't like sea food.
Price for the quality is nothing at all

Very crowded during weekday lunch, had to stand around waiting for seats around 15mins and whole place was tight, squeezy and hot. Food was very average, fish head curry was not very fragrant and abit bland. Gave $50 and forgot to collect the change. Went back but the auntie insisted she returned us the change, and to check CCTV if we don't believe. Did not bother as I had no time and it was just $10+.

Very expensive. Food is alright but overpriced. And staff hurrying you to finish your food so they can clear the table. Overall, an unpleasant experience.

The food's alright, the lunch time crowd, narrow passageway and the cramp seating was terrible. What made is worst was the horrendous service from the grouchy staff who would be seen yelling at customers and telling people off.
Wouldn't recommend the place given there's no lack of good food around the CBD

Very nice creamy curry, also had their mutton too, was also very well made. Highly recommended lunch place.

Many people claimed the fish head curry is best, but I think it is above average but not that fantastic

One of the worst places you could have lunch. I'd advise you not to do yourself disservice and head elsewhere.
The food is alright, the fish head curry is average and I really could not find any points about the signature dish that actually warranted praise.
The sambal cockles were overshadowed by the sambal and you'd barely taste the delicate irony sea salt that cockle lovers go for.
The service was unforgettably.terrible! The staff were hostile and openly rude to customers and made us vow to not return.

Fish scales were not removed. Curry is bland and has bitter taste. It has lost its spiciness and sourness that tingles your senses.

Complained about the rice portion and ask to add a bit more. The service staff then tried to sell me another portion. When i asked her to compare my serving with the another customer next to me, she kept quiet and went on to add the rice to appropriate amount.

Mixed vegetables cum zichar store. Known for its curry fish head. Personally like the mutton curry and squid ink dishes.

Nice curry fish head. Spent about $15 per person with one curry fish head, one meat, one Vege, and rice for 4 people.

Bad customer service. Discriminate customers that don't order fish curry.
When we arrived, there was an empty big table, we were told we cannot take the big table (fair enough).
Waited for table for 4, but when the table became available, we were told we cannot take the table as we don't order fish curry.: (

I dun like the mutton rendang.kinda too tough and not spicy.chicken curry a bit sweet and not hot per my view.for the fish curry, they are unable to drench my rice as the reason given this is not the normal curry.the sambal kang kong and stir fry vegetable toufu was not badd

One of the best curry fish head in Singapore. If you do not like fish head, you can order fish tail too. There are many other delicious dishes too. Unfortunately, it is very crowded during lunch hour. You have to come early if you want to get a place to eat curry fish head. ENJOY!

Extremely dishonest staff that overcharges 2 times in 2 different visits. I would take the first time as an mistake but 2 times on a separate occasion? Please ask for a bill when dining there. Beware of the lady cashier.

Brisk business, hostile auntie servers. Be prepared to be shifted around as these service crews are well versed in diner dash. I had the experience of being shifted to nowhere. Food is good and fresh generally though I found a long strand of healthy brown hair in my piping hot spinach. Couldn’t tell who’s the culprit.

Food quality is nice but not the price. For 2vege1meat, about $5-6. Curry fish head is famous here but price compare to other coffeeshop is 15 to 20% higher.

The vege sour taste today, may be holiday period not enough man power to cook or control food quality.

Always tasty. All the dishes are well cooked. Be prepared for long que. And good food won't last till beyond 8 pm!
