Hi I also experiencing this issue, as they scam and charge me for 3k and now
I already report to police and went to Small claims. Which the court has given money Order to them to return back my money but till now they ignoring me and only return 500 SGD.
Anyone have their boss contact number please share or any info.

I have reported this place to the police. Like other reviews say, they use predatory selling to try to sell things you don't need. They pretend to not speak English. They get very hostile when you try to turn down items or dispute the charges. I took enough photos before leaving to submit to the police.

The service sucks, they don't have service attitude at all and too much sales talk, super annoying

I would like to share my cousin (who is in his 70s, low IQ and illiterate) encounter at the same Hair Fun at Blk 310 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10. He has previously purchased a pre-PIAS $60 haircut credit and the balance was $56 at time of visit.

He just wanted a simple hair cut and the minute he sat down on the chair, they were aggressively upselling a hair treatment package.

He declined and was waiting for his hair cut to end.

When the haircut ended, he headed to the cashier and took out his pre-paid card of $56. They rejected the card and told him that he needed to pay using his ATM card. Being ignorant and his low IQ, he handed his ATM to them.

What happened next was astonishing. When they handed to hand-held device for him to key in his PIN, they covered the LCD display. He input his PIN.

When the transaction went through, he was handed the ATM slip and was horribly shocked that the amount of $1,980 was debited from his account!

He approached the staff and asked why he was charged the amount and they replied that he agreed to sign up for the hair treatment package. Two other staff, including a male and female came forward with the intend to intimidate him. They laughed it off at him! He was afraid to confront them any further and left the shop.

Months later, he told me about the incident and we went to the AMK Ave 3 police post to make a report.

Much to our surprise, a letter reply was received in October from the police that they will not pursue matter stating that there was no past or pending report made against them! I spoke with the inspector after several attempts to contact him. As a public servant I was surprised how arrogant and rude he was when he replied my WatsApp message and the conversation we had. She. I asked him if this is not cheating, what is for a $1980 for a hair cut. His response quoting the penal code, it was an ‘agreed’ exchange of service. Absurd reply from a senior ranking officer!

We were advised to seek our own actions: go to CASE, small claims or take up a civil suit!

I am appalled by the response from the public enforcement. I am now exploring what are action (s) to do.

Please share your thoughts and comments. And for those who have experienced similar incident at this establishment, let’s collaborate and see how and how we take further appropriate action (s).

Now it's happening. If anyone got the boss contact pls post here. This is seriously outrageous! We need to expose their misdeeds, trying to cheat customers especially the eldery.
The china guy keep on pestering his customers to continue sign up new package and if you resist, he would say the hair treatment or whatever shit already out of stock need to sign up better hair treatment item to continue package. Please help.

Do not even bother to come here. Lousiest service of salon i ever had in sg.
Asked me to put my bag on another chair. The barber with red hair who looked damn like a ahlian put the clothes which use to cover body of customers on my bag after she finished her haircut. This is very rude and mean. Dont u know that clothes fulled with people hair? Where the hell is ur effing common sense?
Tryna hard sell their membership to me. If not bought it, they will start to be mean to u.

Lady manager at the Toa Payoh branch beside Mr Coconut does nothing all day except for being rude to customers. The two poor fella hard at work cutting hair and she only hard sells to sign package. Queue on weekends super long and she does not bother to help out. Today my package ended and she insisted that I top up. When I asked if I could top up on my next visit. She rudely said NO! And told her assistant to tear up my membership card. I am so thankful of not renewing my package.

An elderly uncle (70+ years old) went to the Ang Mo Kio branch in May, was told that his hair roots was oily etc (can cause xxx serious health problem) - pressure tactic to go for a hair treatment.

When paying for the hair treatment, he thought he is paying for one treatment $99 via the NETS terminal, but he was charged $990 for 10 treatments (which will include 1 free treatment) instead. Staff covered the payment amount when asking him to pay on the NETS terminal. Upon realising what happened (after getting the receipt), he tried to get his money back on the spot, but salon refused. He has filed a case with CASE, but the hair salon totally didn't respond to CASE.

This way of taking advantage (and cheating) seniors is despicable.

Worse customer service and haircut! If zero star was an option, I would have chosen it.
I was asked to check the initial cut and I wanted to cut it a bit shorter and got scolded "it's not my fault, the fault is entirely yours". Then may I ask, what's the purpose of asking me to check the initial cut since you have no intention to trimming it further? Not to mention, the cut was only done in like 2minutes!
DO NOT EVER VISIT THEM (REGARDLESS OF OUTLET; Just look at the other reviews.)
Worse still, they were also hard selling their packages also and when I keep rejecting them, they start to get frustrated?

My bro (low IQ) went for a haircut at Ang Mo Kio salon, Ave 10. He was pressured to go for hair treatment & was charged $500 for 1 visit. This is obviously out to misled & I would advise people to tell their seniors not to go to this salon. In the meantime, I would check when is this business registered & will ask the MP for help.

Agree that prob not even worth a star. Bought a $100 credit and instantly regretted it. Subsequent visits were all disappointing. Had to wait terribly long for my turn as their staff are always not around. Each time only 1-2 stylist in the shop. Then there will be a manager idling around doing all the unnecessary stuff besides cutting hair. Seems like gonna close down inevitably. Hope the boss who see this review can make a conscious effort to make a change and save the business.

Came over today for a hair cut at ang mo kio hair fun. Service was so bad, male hair dresser from china with terrible attitude, yelling at me pointing fingers right at my face accusing me for saying that he use his side eyes to cut, i was explaining to him that i can't use my side eyes to see if its even provided he provides me a side mirror and he thinking that he is right to shout at me.management sucks! Manager not even doing anything but keep asking for a $7 which my hair was badly cut and have not even cut finish due to his bad attitude i decided to ask him stop as he is ruining my hair. Basically, if you are not professional go back to china and be a hairdresser, this is not your country to act big and bully singaporean. If you want to cut show respect, don't tell me what i should tell you to do. Nobody can use their side eyes to gage their freaking side to see if their hair is even.who likes the hair to be cut uneven! Put yourself in the customer shoes.please fire him, so rude and not professional.

Friendly staff. Membership increased from $10 to $15 to $20. Getting more expensive and long wait time. Otherwise, cheap haircut/trimmings.

I love to go there because speed cut and trim. You have to mention what style you want. If not will do basic cut.

Its not a one star. This is a Negative Star. Shop assistant say one thing, shop owner say the other thing. This is just dishonesty, people trying to sell their product and service by saying yes to everything but after service denying what they have agreed. There were no black and white so please know that you are exposing yourselves to high risk of scam at their place. TPY Shop owner hard sell to the MAX. Extremely bad experience there. Highly recommended if you want to be offended and stay angry.

The hair fun at ang mo kio, is not probably cut. We ask different the person cut different. I ask mullet the person anyhow cut. My hair all not what i ask and i want
