Music school with a good programme for children. Sells instruments and music books. Sometimes they have programmes and performances as well.

Excellent place to get the children learn piano. My girl loves her lesson with Teacher Wong. Must come and bring your children here and learn how to play piano.

Ernest Kwok is my teacher. He is very talented and encouraging. He is the only guitar teacher so far who has highlighted ways to improve my techniques.

I'm going to be brutally honest here (about their guitars)

I have nothing personal against Yamaha itself. Really.

It is just that as a Fender and Martin player all my life feel that the Yamaha electrics and acoustics are poorly made and the cutting is bad and unworthy of the costly price.

That said, the classical guitars are quite acceptable and can even surpass some of the more premium brands. However, the acoustics and electrics are not for more seasoned players.

The pianos and keyboards are really good though since it's Yamaha. Not forgetting to add that the drums are also widely customizable.

But the best part of the store is that you're given free rein to test out the instruments and that's really appreciated.

Customer service is also good and decent I don't find anything wrong with it contrary to popular reviews but maybe that's a personal view.

I was looking for the FG series of guitars. And Bryan assisted me in the process to look for a suitable pc. Long story short, due to the sonic signature of e FG series being very similar to my guitar, did not go ahead.

But Bryan was very patience and extremely helpful. Very honest and trueful in his input. So rare these days to find. Top notch service and product knowledge! I will definately come bk again. Excellent experience!

John Lau patiently helped me to fix my drum set, despite many e-mails and physically bringing the hi hat over. He also introduces other music equipment when I asked for recommendations to best fit my need.

Bought an acoustic guitar yesterday for my son. Bryan approached me when I entered the store and was exceptional. He asked me the guitar that I wanted, the availability of colours, describe to me the care and maintenance of the guitar and explain to me the various accessories that I bought. The buying process including of cleaning and tuning the guitar is smooth and fast. I was out of the store in less than 15 mins. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for the great buying experience.

The current hardcopy invoice and existing payment methods are so old school and inconvenient. There are several times when each customer in front of me took an average of 5 minutes to pay.

The staff at beatspot were horrible. When my friend and I tried to play the piano they started blaring Chinese music as loud as possible. Horrible service

Went to try the YUS5 flagship upright piano and staff was friendly. But the digital pianos were all next to each other: I wish I'd brought my headphones. And at least they were open after CNY - other piano dealers were closed the whole week!

Went to Yamaha @ Plaza Singapura a week ago & I love the service from Sandy! She was very friendly and patient with me while guiding me on how to become a Yamaha member. She also carried out her job efficiently by letting other customers make payment for their books first (and even asked that I was okay with it) since I faced some difficulties with the membership. Overall a really pleasant experience! Would definitely come back to this branch to get more books whenever I need to:)

I signed my kid up for their Music Wonderland class. Their system is ancient. I have to go in person to make the payment (they do not accept payment online). The ladies at the counter took forever to process, even though there was no one that day. They were just gossiping about someone who stole food in their pantry. As a result, the person who helped me got so distracted that she tagged my giro payment to another student. She tried to tell me that it isn't the worst thing to happen as the student is no longer doing classes. But if she or he is - my account will be deducted! She wanted me to go down in person to reverse the payment. I insist that I don’t have the time to do that. She mailed it to my home and I filled up the form to send it back to them via snail mail.

This is not the worst. They cancelled the class! They are now making me snail mail them another hand signed form so that they can pay me back my deposit.

They might be really good at music but forget about customer service or technology. They are clearly too complacent.

The staff in Yamaha Beatspot were rude and gave me the impression that they cannot be bothered to provide any decent service. When I asked them to check whether they have stock for a particular guitar model, the staff walked away and never came back to give me any answer. A while later I saw him behind the counter chatting away with a colleague and did not even bother to check on my query

Came here today (19 Jul 2021,8pm) to check out digital piano for my girl to BUY so she can comfortably practice her piano lessons at home. I saw a model I liked online (sg yamaha website) and went to enquire. I mean it is only natural to want to have a feel of the instrument before buying. However, the salesperson was uninterested and really rude. Totally unhelpful. "I don't sell this here! You sure it's not the other shop? Or only online? ! " Never even make an effort to look it up with the other stores. Like hello, I'm not buying $1 or $2 item here leh. I look like I cannot afford it is it? Shame on you, so called flagship store selling classical musical instruments but no class attitude.

I would like to commend and thank Bryan from the Plaza Singapura Branch for his excellent service.

I was looking for a product that I found was unavailable on the E-Store. Decided to give the PS Branch a call to enquire about stock availability and to my pleasant surprised, it was available. I told Bryan that I will visit the store the following day in person to sample the products.

Shortly after the call, I was surprised that Bryan personally dropped me a text with all the prices, model numbers as well as the accompanying accessories that I would typically need with that product. He was also helpful in answering all the questions that I had.

When I visited the store, Bryan was patient and had everything reserved for me to try. He was nice enough to throw in a complimentary drum sticks to my purchase as well.

Overall, a pleasant shopping experience at Yamaha Plaza Singapura!

Bad customer service on the old lady working at the cashier on the guitar side. Ask them whether I can use the voucher and they say yes. When I bring the product to the cashier and told the cashier I want to use the voucher on top of the promotion and the lady rudely told me I can't use it on top of the promotion. If the lady politely told me it will be understood. However it leave me with an bad after taste. I would recommend people to go to Swee Lee which is close by. They have a much better customer service and better selection of products.
