WANTON - Seng's Noodle Bar reviews
76Great place to come when you crave consistent well done wanton mee. Service was also friendly and fast. My friend over-ordered for lunch but we finished everything and was stuffed. Food coma ensued.
Cha siew is so lean and tough. Beer not cold enough. Negroni soso. Wantan is good. Noodles are al dente. A meal is ok. A wow is hard.
Yummy wanton mee and best of the best carrot cake and friendly staffs! Will be back for the wanton mee and carrot cake!
Really excellent service and friendly staff, made dining here a delight. The wanton mee was delicious, along with the selection of chilli sauces. We also had Ju Hua highball which was refreshing and sweet.
The wanton noodles is a solid A+!
Everything was yums - the char siew, wanton, soup and esp the hot chilli sauce. Yum!
Best expensive Wanton mee you gonna get in Singapore. Try their cocktails!
New place, same old food
Just came across this place earlier. Admittedly I wasn't expecting good things as it was pretty empty apart from beer drinkers outside but thought I'd give it a go. I had the twosome moods which actually was very good. Really tender char siew and nice roasted pork belly. Had a side of veggies too.
However, service was sloppy, the waiter didn't know what was on happy hour and didn't know what wines there were. In the end stuck with Tsing Tao beer but $15 for not even a pint (a schooner) is steep and again, its not in happy hour. Rap music blasting didn't add anything. Could be such much better.
Amazing food! Very accommodating to vegetarian and dairy free. Very friendly service, helpful and good vibes for a Saturday night. Highly recommend the mushroom noodles, great drink selection also
Been to their first outlet then shifted here - food has always been amazing! They’ve introduced the new XO radish cake into their menu and it is to die for! ️️
(ALSO MUST TRY - Pineapple ale)
Also, Adam has been a great host throughout the night (he derserves pay raise)
Delightful time at this restaurant! Very delicious and well made food, personally would recommend the Wagyu noodles! Adam took extremely delicate care with us in service and was especially Accommodating to all as requested. Overall a 10/10 experience, would recommend to all friends and family for a lovely feast!
Was walking around Ang Siang Hill and we came across this spectacular noodle bar. The host with the tattoos (can't remember his name) gave us excellent service beyond what we expected with great recommendations on the food and wine. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend it if looking for a great Saturday night spot.
I love the food specially the beer and mala noods and cocktails The guy behind the bar wearing a cap was so professional, he was making drinks like a pro.
He gave us shots also i love the energy of the guy
I recommed this amazing place to everyone
A great place to gather for wanton noods n bar bites. Looking forward to visit again for happy hour
Very good place to chill. Food is nice and reasonably priced for the quality. Drinks are great, experienced bartender and friendly GM there.
The noodles and dumplings still kept their Amoy Street standard. Just wondering if some of the added dishes to the current menu was worthwhile. I do however recommend their braised cabbage.
Would have been 5 stars but alas the beer on the menu was qing dao.
Service was good! Ambience was good! Staffs and crews there were friendly and efficient! Especially Adam, hit him up for reservations! Will go back there for sure
Great service and experience overall. Ordered the Twosome noods and tsingtao draft, TsingTao beer is commonly found in bottled form in Singapore but as I expected TsingTao in draft is a notch above. Accompanied with the char siew, sio bak and egg noodles with the fragrant broth it was a perfect combination at an affordable price. The service was at an optimal balance between casual and professional, I was able to ask one of the staff (Adam) for reccomendations on what dish to order according to my various preferences with response in an empathetic manner. A relaxed and cozy environment with excellent execution allowed me to feel at ease in being myself while having the expectation at the back of my mind of a good service and experience.
Love everything about this place, so chill. It was full and with only a few people running to do services, it was excellent
we had such a great time and definitely will come back soon for the cocktail and the food!
I would like to commend Adam and Cheryl for their exceptionally welcoming service and their fun personality. Thank you both!
Amazing ambience, amazing food and quality. Affordable for such a standard. Met two staffs who took time to keep checking on my needs, Mr Adam and Chirag.great job guys! Will definitely be coming back to Wanton soon!
