Tolido's Espresso Nook reviews
31Very cozy place with amazing laksa pasta and rosti with cheese sausages. Their scrambled eggs and avocado toast is good too~ recommend rosti the most it’s the best! Their orange mocha and lattes are great too!
Finally got to patronise this cafe
their panda pancake not bad
slightly softer and default more gula melaka would be much better!
complimentary babyccino (chocolate too) from the staff cause the LO was with us
Pets are restricted to the small round tables. Used to be allowed at the outdoor wooden table but not anymore.
We still enjoy the food here, but the experience just isn’t the same.
The Place abit small, so have to come early to get seats, the food there is nice~ their coffee and tea are nice too!
I must say that the standard hasnt dropped after all these years. Laksa prawn pasta still tastes as good as it used to. A great place that deserves a revisit for a meal or a catch up with friends to share its savory or sweet dishes on the menu.
On suggestion though is if the eatery can include some healthy options especially in its drinks section - for those who are not that into caffeine and sugary food.
My go-to cafe for reliably delicious and reasonably priced food. Coffee is a bit of a hit-and-miss (Douglas the boss makes it the best) so if the consistency improves, there is literally nothing else to complain about other than the long queues that are a testament to Tolido's popularity. Highly highly recommend their prawn laksa pasta. I've tried many others and they've all paled in comparison.
Love the rosti here, worth a visit from faraway!
They are very popular do take note there’s a queue on weekends! Came on Sunday 12 ish and waited 40 minutes for a table for 2.
Sea salt Ice blend mocha: $8.50
Truffle rosti: $18 + $5 bacon ($10 for salmon)
Normal rosti set: ~$20
Ice Lemon Tea: $5
Pet and dog friendly, love it!
Delicious food, staff are very welcoming and kind. 15 minute wait for a table at 2pm on a Sunday.
Delicious! French toast bacon-stout delicious! The 30 minute wait for a table is worth it. Friendly servers! Order and payment system via qr code
Didn’t try the food, but the coffee was expensive and overextracted. Didn’t like that I had to opt out of a 2% tip on the payment page as well
Finally gave Tolido's a try after many many years.
Got the iced peppermint mocha and rosti with cheesy sausage. The drink was great and refreshing, tastes good.
Rosti was pretty nice, good texture throughout, just a tad too oily for my own liking. Got it with scrambled eggs which were done runny. Very buttery taste, would be great with some pepper.
Ordered a Pancake with eggs n sausage. Pancake was powdery. Worst than frozen ones. McDonalds are better. Need to do something about the flour mix, definitely wrong. Another item is the mushroom sauce over croissant. This recipe need to go. Looks nice on the menu photo. But pouring mushroom over crispy croissant is bad idea. Makes the croissant mushy n soggy. If the Chef feels the sauce goes well with croissant, suggest setting the sauce aside. 1 star for both item. The coffee was good. More of a coffee place.
Super nice place for breakfast. Very busy even on weekdays so best to arrive early. I think they have recently added the option to reserve. The seats outside is nice on a slightly cloudy morning. The banana almond toast was amazing, so was the ice blended pumpkin spice latte. The rosti was so-so. Will definitely visit again.
We loved the shashuka and rosti, probably the smoked salmon can be better texture-wise. Overall we did enjoyed our meal:)
Visited here after much anticipated reading the review and online recommendation.food taste was so so and dont really worth the 1.5hours spent in waiting line
One of my favourite breakfast place in Singapore. Tables needs to be booked at least a few days in advance, and walk-in usually requires waiting, even during COVID times. Portions are big.
Foods were great, coffee was not the best.
Very crowded place and need to go early if you don't want to spend a long period of time in the queue.
I really the food there! I had orange mocha which was amazing. I didn't expect to taste the orange tbh but the after taste leaves you with a orangey taste which was very pleasant.
I had shakshouka and my gf had rosti. Both dishes I love it. The sour dough really compliments the shakshouka and the rosti was generous and yet still crispy. Well done!
Pancakes were not fluffy and had a weird texture to them. The bacon was crispy but it was slightly hard as well. Cheesy sausage was just the regular sausage one can expect from ntuc. Food here is decently priced if you get the lunch set which comes with a drink, dessert and main for $22. This place gets crowded with limited indoor seating. The brownie was pretty good and decadent and that was probably the best thing I tried.
Truly one of the best cafes in Singapore. The food is excellent and not very expensive, service is awesome, and if you get to sit outside in nice weather- that's all you need to make your weekend right. I personally feel it's great they don't take reservations on weekends. Looking forward to coming back again for sure. Their sea salt caramel latte is absolutely amazing. Also ordered spagetthi, avocado toast and eggs schashwivk.
