I love coming for workshops at this studio, they often have internationally acclaimed pole instructors teach here.however, i wouldn't be able to do tricks lessons here as they only have brass poles (as the studio's name implies) which doesn't work well for me.the layout of studio 1 could also be improved as the poles are arranged in a way that if you're not in the first row in front of the stage, you wouldn't be able to see yourself in the mirror and/or wouldn't be able to see the instructor.

Been learning primarily with TBB for almost 2 years, and always had the best time of my life here! I love how the instructors are always so encouraging and focused on safety and techniques, one of the safest studios I’ve learnt at thus far. Highly recommended!

TBB is really my happy place. Very well-structured level classes that help me gradually & safely improve my techniques. The choreo classes are amazing, various of types to choose from. Most importantly, TBB instructors are super nice & helpful.

I would like to give great feedback for the new format of splits and backbends class by Joey. Despite being a more general stretch class, she catered to all levels. And she's really approachable when I needed help in correcting certain engagement that I'm not very aware of.

Even though I'm not a beginner, I benefit from the learning proper engagement to strengthen and condition the correct set of muscles for the specific areas.

In doing so, I got to know my problem areas and build more awareness in my routine stretching. And has been really effective not just in class but outside of class as well.

Overall very good experience, the teachers and staff are knowledgable and willing to help in any ways. Starting from trial class and will be going on to our third semester with TBB already. Highly recommend if you would like to try something new and challenge your body's limit.

Have been learning at The Brass Barre since Sept 2021 and am enjoying every moment of it! The instructors are all very knowledgeable and encouraging and really make sure you are able to execute every trick safely and with the proper technique. I look forward to my classes every week!

I'm writing in with regards to Last night- 19th April TBB's referral trial which starts at 9pm. I arrived early hence was just waiting around. I had a long day & realised my hp dying on me hence I approached yr counter staff Jamie & ask if I could just charge it for about 5-10mins. She was extremely rude to begin with. She abruptly told me NO as she was charging her own hp. Without pursuing i left it & went for class. After class my hp died & I need to grab home hence I approached her again telling her I just need a charge just so I could grab a car & again she said no to me! She than pointed for me to approach my trial instructor & I went into room 1 again to ask for help but Sarah e instructor then had a Huawei charger & may not be compatible. I went back to Jamie again & ask if I could use another room to charge as its pretty empty by 10ish. She stormed away into the room & smacked the switch lights on. Its so uncalled for tbh FYI.because of her, I took the train & bus & reached home almost close to midnight. I had e most unpleasant experience w TBB. Also half of the time she was not wearing her mask properly. Pulling her mask down to her chin clearly not responsible. Front counter staff should be accommodating and approachable. Jamie definitely did not make the cut. On hindsight, the trial class is pretty packed. How many to a class?

Pros:
- The pole levels and assessments are great to make sure students can do tricks safely
- Staff at the counter have improved, are more professional and accommodating
- Teachers really emphasize on technique. For ex, some are able to explain what muscles to engage to do a trick.
- Classes are fun and there’s a lot to choose from
- They’ve added studio merch!

Areas for Improvement:
- Pole level classes can cover more tricks that aren’t part of the syllabus to make classes more interesting
- Some teachers are stand-offish to students they don’t know or teach, which isn’t great for business since you’re turning off potential students
- The classes are limited for women only, with the exception of seasonal classes. Would be cool to make classes more inclusive and available to everyone

I attended a trial on a weekend afternoon. The vibe was fun and open, a lot of us were coy but the instructor was cheery and encouraging but at the same time let us know how the proper form should be when doing pole techniques. No one who attended trial had any prior experience so we were all learning together, I thoroughly enjoyed it:)

The trial included techniques (we tried 2) which was basically holding on to the pole with our legs up, and a small portion of choreography. All manageable and easy to follow!

Some of the instructors are really good and there are the ones who totally show bias to some of the students. Thought Brass Barre is all about inclusivity. And one of their front counter staff - can't bother to remember her name but always in glasses is really rude. Ask a few more questions and you can see her rolling her eyes. Maybe some customer service training should be given to her.

Attended a trial class with Yvonne who was super friendly and nice! She took the time to explain each and every move and also shared a lot of pole advice/about her experience. The course feels like it would be great for beginners/first timers, would recommend it)
