Synwin Music Pte Ltd reviews
31Brought our son to buy a full size violin and Mr Jensen Phua was professional, knowledgeable and patient. He let our child tried out a few violins without rushing him and took time to answer all the questions we had. Our child had a great experience in choosing his new violin and thanks very much to Mr Phua for the pleasant shopping experience. Highly recommended!
The price is very reasonable. The staff are nice and they have a lot of selection to choose from.
I'm from New Zealand, visited Singapore last couple weeks and wanted to buy a violin bow while I was there. I communicated with the staffs online prior to my arrival with concerns of how I'm suppose to bring it home safely. They prepared solid packaging in the shop for me as a carry-on before I arrive at their shop, and the kind staffs very carefully wrapped the violin bow with layers and layers of protective material before put it in the solid packaging. The staff was also very informative and helpful to me to pick out the violin bow. Excellent service and great communication. Highly recommended! (Why their shop among all music shops in Singapore? Thanks to Two Set Violin.)
Great shop to visit if you're looking for string instruments of any price range, accessories and books. Super helpful and friendly staff! Highly recommended!
Very good service, received lots of tips on how to look after a new violin from the saleswoman.
Lovely shop with a wide variety of violins to choose from! Bought 1 for my daughter. The sales person at the outlet is friendly and patient in answering all my queries. Thank you!
Enjoyed the experience of buying the violin in Synwin! The sales person is friendly and knowledgeable. She provided us all we needed during the violin try out, and patiently answered our questions. She also let us try different bows so we could pick one with good fit. This will definitely become our go to shop for all violin related stuffs!
The customer service has a lot learn, as I put it politely. I asked to try the cello and this guy in the store passed me the student model cello to try. When I ask to try a higher tiered cello, he tried to bluff me by referring the same model to me. I haven't been playing the cello for years and hence I was just playing long tones to listen to how the cello sounds like. Little did he know that I grew up playing the cello and it's obvious to me which is which. So I asked for a list of instructors to see what are his contacts and with an air of arrogance, he passed me the names and said that he don't know about the quality of their teaching. If it wasn't recommended by my instructor I wouldn't even bother coming here. Ask me again which is the place to look for cello, I will suggest Tong Ming Xi at the Esplanade instead.
One of the best places to buy Violin. The staff is very courteous, explaining the details and guiding us based on our needs. We were guided by Mr. Liu who was very kind in helping us choose the right violin for our daughter.
Highly recommended shop for musical instruments like Violin, Cello n Guitars.
Bought my first and 2nd violins from here.staff are knowledgeable and friendly.very nice experience each time.
Great string shop to get what u need. I needed a tool to fix my cello and they just lend me the tool on the spot. Great service and very knowledgeable as well.
Very nice place. Go there often to get music supplies, especially strings. Good place to go to if you are into music.
I love this violin shop with nice and helpful staffs, quality services. I always stop by this shop when travelling to Singapore. I bought my first violin here and also accessories. The store is not only sale violin but also do music event
This was the 2nd violin shop we visited. They have more violin choices with different price range. The sales man is friendly & professional. Very happy shopping experience. Definitely come back again.
This music store does not hard sell their music instruments. They allow us to try out their range of guitars before we decide on the one we wanted.
My wife bought a cello with a crooked pin from Synwin. Instead of apologizing and rectifying the defect, Synwin just oiled it which did not solve the problem. In the end, the crooked pin was replaced at another shop. Buyers beware!
I have visited this place twice and very impressed with the guy who served us both times. He was very friendly and took a lot of time to help us to try out instruments. Excellent customer service.
Your go to place for all violin, viola, cello and double bass instruments.well stocked and friendly staff.
Really great place to try out and test bows and cellos. If you're looking to find out what u like in a cello or bow, its worth your time to head down there and test different bows. Ive recently been there to purchase a bow and leave another for rehair, and although the rehairing was going to take a much longer time than i was expecting, the experience of trying bows on a Hoffner cello (11k!) really made the visit very enjoyable
Even though I've personally not been inside Synwin to enquire about their violins or guitar, I've heard plenty of positive feedback from friends and family regarding their warm, personalised service and their affordable products for beginners.
You would be hard-pressed not to notice their flagship store. I would always gaze upon the intrincately crafted violins and violas that perches from the ceiling - somehow calming and beautiful to look at.
The sole harpsichord that sits at the front of the store behind the glass facades often draws the curious onlookers and comments such as "what kind of piano is this? It's so small and funky sounding".
The store carries both Synwin branded products as well as imported violins and violas from overseas (upon request). You can find other necessities such as rosins, metronome and the likes of as well.
I love the overall baroque look and feel of the store with the colour scheme and the intricate designs.
I believe that whether you are a beginner in a school orchestra or an expert in SSO, you can definitely find something for yourself at the right price point here at Synwin.
