usually cafes have good interior design to give you a “”cafe vibe”” where the visuals, music, food and drinks come together to give you a pleasant experience.this cafe… interior design looks like it came out of a horror movie.i ordered fish and chips.the food was subpar almost bad.the matcha latte was powdery? And had a bad aftertaste.very sad.to think i paid “””cafe””” price for this standard of food.staff was sitting around talking loudly and complaining about some other colleague? Nothing i want to hear tbh

their pet seating area was in the back of the cafe… so the dogs have to walk through the whole cafe to get to the seating area, which doesn’t make sense to me.

Dog friendly with reasonable price. Impressed with the vegetarian menu. Try their mushroom pasta! Yummy

An affordable pet and dog cafe in the neighbourhood. We came here several times and this time was a special day for us and our precious Stitch who turned 5 years old this year. You could pre order a dog friendly cake few days before your appointment. Our cake is made of pumpkin and fruits so humans could eat it too

Food is not bad for the affordable pricing and we enjoyed it! Service was great and speed of serving the food is considered fast. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and recommend you bring your dog there:)

Fish and chip is terrible. Too much oil and soggy. For this price, it’s not worth it at all. Drink is so so.one of the worst fish and chip. They should do better with human food

Great food! Very fairly priced unlike many other pet cafes. Had the hummus and savoury french toast. Will be back for more!

Not unfamiliar to those living in the area, here is one of the most wholesome cafes one can come to for an honest cup of joe and hearty, delicious grub. Additional plus if you love animals as it's pet-friendly.

Had a cortado which was really really good among the other delicious items we had. Crowd starts to come in around ten on a weekday morning so be sure to get here early to get a table.:)

Amazing cafe at very reasonable prices. Pet-friendly. Great food (esp.chilli crab pasta) and exceptional coffee (great that oat/soy milk options are available too). Highly recommended!

For many dog lovers, Sun Ray Cafe needs no introduction. One of the OG pet cafes in Singapore, we visited this place well before we got Chewie, secretly envying the life of a dog owner. The cafe has undergone a simple renovation and changes in its menu since then, but still largely retained the vibe since it opened its doors in 2010.

Located near Serangoon Gardens, the cafe is divided into two sections: one for dogs and one without. All are indoor seating. They mainly specialise in their coffee, though they also offer a selection of breakfast and main course (comprising of burgers and pastas). While the human food selection is not as wide compared to other cafes, they do have a variety of pet food and Chewie enjoyed their apple muffin. We tried their Beef Shakshuka which was exotically delicious and their toast which was average.

Other than that the ambience of the place was also pretty average, small dogs will have an easier time roaming compared to bigger dogs, and there are amenities in place should your dog have an accident. As the OG pet cafe, the staff here are naturally friendly and accomodating towards your furkid too.

In summary, Sun Ray Cafe is a safe choice to have a cuppa with your doggo if you're in the Northeast Area. Parking can be quite a challenge to find as they're located in a landed residential estate and their items are around the mid-range price.

The place is nice and cosy and the food decent however the use of tabsquare and forcing payment via credit card for every order is a painful way to push task on the customer

Place is good for pet owners, they serve dog meals too. However, the hooman foods are a little lacking.

A tucked away cafe away in a hidden row of shophouses, Sun Ray gives good value for the price.

As a relatively low cost place, it comes as no surprise that no one asked a out the fineness when I ordered the steak & eggs. Also unsurprisngly, it wasn't a great cut of beef. But it was well seasoned and tasty, with a lovely side of egg that complemented it well.

The carbonara was alright, but the steak was good. Loved the shake as well.

First time visiting. Great food at reasonable price. Staff was attentive and friendly. High technology ordering and payment method. A very pleasant experience having to dine with furkid in an air-conditioned cafe and serves a selection of pet friendly food as well. Will definitely return again!

A perfect place to go to if you love a quiet environment. The loudest sound I heard comes from the aircon. Great place to work and read. Tried one dish with avocado it was. Another dish tried was mushrooms with toast and scrambled egg

Food is reasonably priced, and the portion is good. Ordered the Crab pasta; there was like half of the soft shell crab plus prawns inside. The dish was nice, taste just right, not too spicy. The banana/mango smoothie had some almond chips and mango inside. Great place to bring your pets! Saw some dogs there? Staff were very friendly as well

The young lady with long ponytail who attended to my toddler and I earlier today was fantastic! She was very friendly, attentive and ready to help!

Service is okay despite short staffed.
Food is very reasonably priced.
Taste is average.
Good ambience on weekends and pet friendly!

Prices on the website not updated. Ordered minute strip loin cubes which were really tough, beef shashuka and tempura squid rings. Overall was pretty average. Will not come back again.
