Staff Canteen Terminal 1

The real hidden gem at Changi Airport. The place is located in B2. The menu are quite various, you can find both halal and non halal food stalls in here. The price is super affordable for budget traveller. Thank you SG Airport staff for sharing the experience with us

One of the tourist destinations is if you want to eat cheaply at Changi Airport. It is located in terminal 1, look for gate 13 then take the elevator to B1. This is an employee canteen, but general people can buy here too. For prices, there are 2 (staff/general) standard places, only a few sellers are open and there aren't many food choices. For cheaper prices compared to restaurants in Changi, it's not much different if you buy at Jewel in the food court section

Place to grab cheap food in Changi airport. I know that the elevator is near check in counter no 13 but still missed it. Note that you have to take the elevator behind check in counter no 13 and go to B1

Quality of food in the staff canteen is coming down, area is too hot, no proper aircon, shortage of fork and spoon etc in the stalls, price is on the higher side for the staff

Only 1 stall open at 8pm. Reasonable price but taste is so so only. Need improvement for horfun. Price gone up no point going there

Came here after reading some posts. Price is not cheap even compared with other food stalls in Changi. Order Paratha with onion, price was $1.70 on board, but the guy asked for $2.0. Definitely wont come back again.

Had cai png for dinner b4 my flight.
More expensive than thought, 3 veg rice cost me $ 6.50, not really worth it, even staff prices between $ 1.00-1.50 less than published prices, will miss the good old days definitely, go try something else.we should leave the staff canteen as it's namesakes.

Arrived from Bangkok this evening. Apparently forgotten about having to fill in the arrival form. Approached staff who very graciously assisted us in filling up the forms. Sincere appreciations.

Selections were wider range of food choices but the price for a non-employee is almost the same as the ones being sold in the other restuarants in the airport. They have a price difference for a traveller like me and an airport employee. The place is hot since there was no AC unless you find a spot where it is cooler. Some places are closed or closing when we went there since they do not sell much. Overall, if you like to try local foods and don't have enough time during your transit.it is a place to visit but if not, do not struggle to look for this place. It is tricky to find.

Pre covid days, its open to the public as well. Too bad the covid puts a stop to the visits. Its a fantastic place for staff however as they do get discounts

There a Nice and Yummy but discreet looking Mala Stall in this Canteen, do drop by to try if you're nearby or work there. It's a branch of the Famous 老成都川菜馆 (Lao Cheng Du Sichuan Cuisine) in Chinatown.

The Malay cuisines served in this Canteen is also Delicious with many stalls to choose from.

Pretty decent and cozy staff canteen that usually open to public. But due to semi lock down, not recommend for public to visit. If you are a staff, you'll find the prices are very friendly.

Ayam Penyet (stall on left side when entering foodcourt) is delicious and the chilli is fire. Same stall sells decent mee soto and begedil. The food court uses styrofoam bowls and plates and plastic utensils even for dine in.

The food is very good and definitely I would recommend other to go to this food court they have all kinds of food here too

Many varieties of food! Cheap and nice. But avoid going to the western food stall. Today is Hari Raya and when I ordered food from them, they showed very bad attitude. Spoil my Hari Raya. Not sure if they are overworked.

Mala store is my go-to.
Generous and welcoming staff serve you as you order! They will recommend what is nice and feel free to ask them to estimate the price as you order.
Food is great - chefs claim that some ingredients are from Si Chuan (known for Mala and spicy food in China!) and even the chef are from there.
Spiciness level is normally one level higher than that of a normal kopitiam Mala store. That is, Xiao la here is actually zhong la at normal Mala stores.

Food quality has gone down in standards throughout the years. With the covid arrangement, cleaners are kept to a mininum and rely on those dining in to clear the tables. So far so good as mostly are staff of the airport. Drinks has gone up by 10cents since jan 2021

The malay stall next to the main drink stall sell good nasi lemak and mee rebus.

Another populat stall number 18, sell the usual hor fun and fried rice stuff.

One of my favourite place for lunch and dinner during my work time at airport terminal 1. Love to patronise there to have my meal during work especially stall number 18. The food prepare by stall18 are awesomeness! Even my colleagues also love to patronise them. Highly recommended to buy meal from them. Gonna miss the food from stall 18 and definitely will buy from stall 18 if I visit them again! Cheers!

I have been patronizing this place since the 80th, when T1was the only terminal in operation. You can found a lot varieties of food at reasonable price. It is must place to go when we were at Airport.
