Springleaf Prata Place

I’d recommend their cheese prata. I thought their egg onion prata was a bit too plain tho.

Innovative menu. Prata with mozzarella cheese. Generous portions. Seasonal favourites too.

Good for their plain Prata. Like their crispy texture.

The plaster Prata is good as well. The runny eggs compliments the crispy Prata.

Some other dishes worth trying is the mutton curry.

The keema mutton curry is minced mutton in a thick and fragrant curry.nice.

Parking is very limited. Park at Springleaf road.

Service is fast but indoor seats are limited.

Love the food but something feels off.not its full potential, there must be some way to speed up the workflow (w/o taxing the employees) + improved usage of the space at the store front.

Rather crowded eatery even at 8+ in the morning. Staff, however, were attentive and get tables cleaned as soon as patrons leave. I personally felt the prata was rather pedestrian, Casuarina Curry down the road has fluffier ones. Prices were also well above average.

I ordered an egg prata. It was very oily and crispy. The vegetarian gravy was great. Next came a vegetarian bee hoon goreng with egg. It was a small portion. It was tasty. We also ordered chicken murtabak and ultimate murtabak. Again they were oily.

Always like the food here. Strongly recommended! You can either chose to sit inside the air-con or outside

This mutton murtabak is delish. Can dapao, they give you packed sauce too. It's a nice family gathering. Go early to snatch a table for your gathering.

Free flow of whatever curry i want. Ingredients are fresh and they are very generous with the portion. Helpful staff and delicious and crispy prata. Will definitely be back!

Their prata is very crispy and has a buttery taste. I would recommend their egg prata and plaster prata. However the other dishes like the maggi goreng and biryani fell short of expectations. The maggi goreng was very oily and bland. Biryani chicken was dry and curry was sweet.

Ordered plain and egg prata and teh tarik. Plain one was good, but the egg one way too crispy, as if I'm eating biscuit, still like the thicker taste (Individual preference). Teh was good.

You will feel like sitting in a fridge. Strong aircond. But thats fine. The best crispy prata ive ever tasted

Amazing place to have cozy food and catch up with friends! Recommend to order their pratas few pieces by few pieces to ensure crispiness in the prata:)

Nice place, has outdoor and indoor seating with aircon. Pretty quiet albeit next to main road. The prata is not your everyday prata though, kinda crispy. Fish curry is good. If you come alone, make sure bring something to chop ur table.

The plain prata (not in picture) was a thick hard lump, not enjoyable at all ~ IMHO, prata should be fluffy and light.

Their other dishes were okay, but I think the standards have dropped dramatically since the last time we were here.

Service was a bit disorganised since we had to follow up on orders before they were brought to us.

Might be the last time I'm patronising this place.

Yes, it is very good. What makes it even better is the curry, the curry is different from other prata places. It is very reccomended if you live near the place but if you live quite far, the taxi/grab cost may add up to your total bill. This is an OG place for Indian food:)

Cashier / boss got the order wrong. Thank goodness I checked before paying. Wanted to customise my teh Tarik less sweet for my set meal but he added a teh bing instead. Told him I did not ordered teh bing, and he rudely replied ‘you ordered wrongly, I already sent your order to the kitchen’ when I haven’t even paid. Seriously, the extra cost of the teh bing is not an issue but I just didn’t want to drink so much sweet drinks so I didn’t want the teh bing.also, if he could have just changed the order, just do it from the start? Why would he want the customer to experience bad service and even insist that he’s right when I definitely did not say teh bing? I know what I said.also the teh tarik that was delivered in the end was really sweet, I don’t see how it was less sweet. Might even be sweeter? Is this revenge? Lol

Nice crispy prata and murtabak. Got to try their ultimate murtabak as long as you don't mind it being on the more cheesy side. Portion is rather generous. Curry is good as well. Lots of other selection to choose from. The only downer is the location can be a bit inconvenient and parking is hard to find. This should change when the new Springleaf MRT station opens.

Excellent food, affordable prices, and excellent staff. There's quite a large variety of pratas, and most of them are really good. You can also try out the various types of dosa that's available here.
The egg cheese Prata is quite good

Nice cosy corner with good prata variety, but difficult to get parking because of MRT Thomson line construction still on going. The price okay for air-condition restaurant.
