Soup Restaurant 三盅两件 - VivoCity reviews
52 They served broken plates for 2 dishes that we ordered. When I feedback the first broken plate, the waiter just looked at me as if nothing was wrong. So I prompted him that it's dangerous to serve broken sharp utensil.
Then the other dish also came on a broken plate. Sharp crack as well. Same thing the 2nd waitress I prompted just looked at me as though it's normal. So again I advised that they should keep broken plates away.
Only took picture of one of the plate.
Just to remind the community to be mindful of the condition of utensils when eating out.
The Ba Shu Gong fish is rich and delicious, but after returning to Johor, a friend identified it as a badin. It costs 5 yuan per 100g in Malaysia and costs 60 Singapore dollars per piece in this store. The sambal water spinach also lacked some aroma. I feel sick to my stomach after eating minced tofu. The sea cucumber and thick mushroom pellet stewed with shiitake mushrooms are larger than the sea cucumber, but the quality of the sea cucumber is still good.
Great restaurant, with nice ambience. The service officer was polite and very professional. Always ready and humble with their services. Well done!
Food was great, especially The Samsui Chicken
This place has a really nice view of resorts world Sentosa. Soup restaurant has always been a childhood go to place and it still remains so. The prices are affordable and the Samsui chicken is really good.
Waited and waited and waited but no one seems to want to take any order.so we decided to leave. Servers just can't seem to notice you, looking busy but not doing any work, just walking and hurrying by the tables.
The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Ginger chicken, tofu, and ginger fried rice are recommended!
Food and service standard remains as good as before. It will be good if food can be less oily and salty. Is a place that worth going back
Dining with friends. It had been a long time, so I was able to stay quite relaxed, but the store clerk didn't look particularly nasty, and if I asked for a picture, he was so kind that he took a lot of pictures.
The ginger sauce here is especially delicious, and it was delicious when you put it on the steamed chicken and eat it.
Food is tasty but all small portion.
Sweet and sour pork cost $15.90 for only 10 pcs of meat. Ordered chicken foc soup of the day. The staff had forgotten about the soup. Soup served to us when we’re about to finish the dishes.
The waitresses were informative about the menu, helpful and courteous. My guests were delighted with the tasty meal. Their staff, Xuan Ze, at the payment counter was also warm and patient. That completes a pleasant lunch experience at the restaurant that remains affordable.
Food is delicious.yummy and good try thanks chef Lun Seng from vivocity outlet. Besides, Peiyee at Vivo City was very friendly and helpful. She so beautiful! Thanks again! I will bring my family and friends come and eat again ️
This review is to compliment staff, Teoh Pei Yee. Her assistance and service has been outstanding and consistent throughout my entire meal. Requested for extra ginger and said I like it a lot, she gave me without hesitation. Even scooped a bowl for each of us when our soup came. 10/10 will come back because of the food & this particular staff. Fantastic job
We came here to celebrate my mom birthday!
Great food with their most famous San Sui Ginger Chicken. Ask the staff to demo what is the best way to eat. Also the other dishes we ordered were also great
Service is good but can see they are short handed however they are warm and courteous.
Samsui Chicken & Fried Spicy Fish Belly is very nice. The rest are just okay only. Serving is rather small and not economical.
Portion size getting smaller and staff aren’t exactly friendly. When we entered the restaurant, there were no staff at the front and when we walked in, a staff chased us out rudely and said to wait at the front. Only saving grace was the chicken that my group liked from the soup restaurant.
Chicken is tasty as usual. However, price increase up to 50% weeks before CNY. Service is below average due to lack of staff with too many tables. Too salty and garlicky for the sea cucumber with mushroom. Hope to see improvement in the future. Ambience is good for kids as you will some private corners.
Utterly very aghast with how staff responded to my Aunt when giving feedback on having glasses with handle when serving HOT TEA.
Staff named Michelle was RUDE, zero patience when it comes to hearing us out and an obvious tone of annoyance when we are merely giving feedback that they shouldn’t be serving HOT PIPING TEA in such glasses. We booked for 6+1 child and she almost took away one set of cutleries when we clearly made a booking for 6+1 at their VivoCity outlet. Also, there was a missing item from our order despite a waitress in black uniform CHASED the kitchen for update and waited for almost 20 mins after the first follow up that we asked. Terrible service and what’s the best part of giving solution to drinking hot tea in that kind of glass?
“Would you like some ice cubes in the hot tea? ”
“Or would you like us to give you a beer mug instead? ”
JESUS CHRIST. Why would we bother to order hot tea if we wanna drink it cold? ! Common sense have gone straight into the garbage bin?
Never gonna patronise there ever again. Utterly ruined the whole lunch when we are there celebrating my uncle’s bday.
Disgusting service.
Slow cooking time even though the restaurant is not packed. Food is okay, reasonably priced but go only if you have a lot of time to spare. Will not be back cos the time interval of the dishes are too long. Might be understaffed? Hope they can hire more staff. ️ overall nice place if you like long lunches.
Not bad, food same as other places, pretty good, but waiters forget a few times for stuff like add rice and refill waters
My usual lunch consists of Sam Shui Chicken (small) and fried sambal sweet potato leaves. This branch is good as others. Good services. Hot tea was always refilled without asking. This can be a small thing, but this shows either staffs have service-mind or they have been well trained.
