SLAP Dance Studio (Singapore Lap and Pole Dance Studio)

Not a very easy place to find. It is located inside a very narrow building amongst all the tall buildings. The studio is tucked in on the upper floor. You literally standing/ queueing up for the class as soon as the elevator opens. However, inside the studio … it was bright, private, clean studio with comfortably spaced out poles and toilet. I had a good time and highly recommended this place.

The instructors are really nice and encouraging. The classes were also nicely paced and as a newbie to pole, I felt really comfortable and supported by the community.

Started my pole journey this year April and have been hooked. First off the studio is gorgeous with high ceilings and warm lights. It’s also very spacious. Just gives you the feel that you are a star.

And I really love the classes and instructors. I have been taught by Sabril, Charmaine, Vanessa, Cherilyn, Crystal and Shevonne. They are all very supportive and create a really nice environment for beginners. Also shout out to Jasmine who threw in free classes to see how well we have advanced. I really enjoy pole and this studio is the reason why. So excited to continue this journey.

Started off my first ever pole journey and my journey in sports here at Slap studio and never looked back ever since. I enjoyed every moment of my classes, workshops, love love love the instructors - Vanessa, Crystal, Joanne, Asa, Natasha, Charmaine & Rebecca (they are super funny, hardworking, encouraging and goes the extra mile just for you!) and definitely the ambience/space of the studio. Special thanks to the Mother of Slap, Ms Jasmine for always being there for us and hear us out. She's down to earth, very humble, witty and quick in her response. Very efficient too! I think, without them and their never ending support and genuine love, I would not be where I am today and still loving pole as much as I did in day 1. To many more milestones ahead! ️

I started my pole and aerial journey here, and i’ve continued ever since! Every instructor at slap is so incredibly friendly and caring, and the community there is wonderful! I would 10000% recommend coming here

Been dancing here for over a year and there is a lot to love about the slap community! Instructors are very sweet and detailed.

I've done beginner classes in another studio before around 2016 and I stopped as I didn't feel like the instructors are nice and providing the foundations for absolute beginners. In the end, I only attended 2 classes and decided to skip the rest of the class.

Fast forward to 2021 and I decided to give pole another try so I enrolled in term 1 intro to pole and now doing easy class! I'm amazed how I am hooked now compared to before and I'm definitely loving the pole community! ️️️️

Had a birthday event here and was such an awesome experience! Marika was so kind and patient and we had a blast! Organization was easy. Thank you all so much!

Never stop dancing. Slap is a fun, inclusive and caring pole studio. Every teacher has a slogan and personality, and they make the studio feel like a second home.

I LOVE Slap dance studio! Started my first pole class at the beginning of 2020, and I've been hooked since. One of the main draws is that the instructors are so warm, helpful and so much fun. It feels like a big happy family. I look forward to my classes so much. The studio and management are very accommodating and always do their best to optimise our pole dancing experiences

Great environment. Alot of support and help from the people - fellow learners and instructors alike! Many classes available at timings that works for me. The only studio I know for now that has a high ceiling thus, longer/higher pole to do tricks! Will continue to attend classes

SLAP dance studio is a heartwarming space with encouraging instructors. It brings strength to one not just physically but mentally and emotionally. The entire experience at SLAP gives great memories and definitely one that allows people to look forward to.

As a Physiotherapist, I've collaborated with many of the instructors at Slap for a number of years now. While I've shamefully never tried pole, I can see that they are immensely passionate about what they do and this is shared with their students. Recommend to anyone looking to try something new to keep fit and explore their creative side.

SLAP is an amazing studio with warm and friendly instructors!
The studios are super spacious and beautifully designed, absolutely love dancing in them.
They also have great courses in all kinds of pole genres (lyrical, exotic, tricks etc.), taught by experienced instructors in a supportive atmosphere.
Dancing with SLAP has made me feel more confident in my body, definitely recommend!

Slap is my favourite pole dance studio in Singapore. The studio facilities are fantastic, clean, airy, well maintained and well spaced unlike other studios who may crowd too many poles into one studio. The instructors always have great energy and positivity.

Online Zoom classes are also interesting, with varying well thought out themes and are very professionally run!

Fabulous friendly and warm team of instructors! Clean studios and great atmosphere. Students have a great vibe going on and everyone is made to feel right at home!

I’ve been coming to Slap since Dec 2018. The studios are beautiful and very clean, with a professional and friendly staff. I have access to the best instructors in the business out of Singapore. They are always super encouraging and the classes are always upbeat and fun.
Still remember my intro class back then: the teacher was clear, concise, (also hilarious, if it helps) and I had plenty of time to try out the moves and practice! It was my best Pole trial experience ever in Singapore. Then I got to try many different class types in 14 months: technical pole tricks, pole routine, stretch, lyrical / vertical ballet, chair dance, exotic dance in heels or dance cardio workout to burn calories!
Slap's a positive, welcoming space where I continue to grow both in body and mind. My happy place, my second home.
