Ah chong is an experience old timer bike mechanic. I'm riding an FJR and he can trouble shoot and do the necessary repairs with ease. No guess work. Only thing his place is far from my house but what the heck.

Twice I went to this shop to have my 2009 Suzuki Gsr400 fixed and twice I was't disappointed. Ah Chong is superb in daignosing and fixing the problem. He is also friendly and funny. He know his stuff. I will keep on going here.

Followed them for a very time. Reliable, honest and experienced mechanics. They will not purposely exaggerate the problem of your vehicle just to make you worried or coax to take their service.

I have been patronizing this workshop for over 10years since my first 2B bike (TA200) to current class 2. Never disappoint. Price and service is excellent too.

Phantom years ago when I purchased from previous buyer had issues, went to a Soon Hin at Yishun few times and over time ripped off for close to 600-700 for repairs that weren’t even needed. Then I got recommended here.

Even though I stay at Sembawang, it’s totally worth it. Punctured Tyre of my super 4, he said hole is SUPER big, was so sure needed replacement but he said he’ll try anyway and had to use 2 rubber ‘worms’ to successfully restore my Tyre function - $5. Phantom issue, wasn’t sure what it was, he’ll put on his legendary black and yellow sprayed helmet and test ride (yes I guess it’s… not exactly legal) but he does it to experience it and understand the problem himself.

It is however a bit kampung style where sometimes he’ll be a bit rough with certain things (which might cosmetically affect some of your bike parts, like your lugs etc)

Man wearing torn shirt pants and kampong slippers but always looking out opposite if anyone’s parking beside his Mercedes! Make sure nobody opens their door and knocks his car. Hahaha.

Thank you Ah Chong for his patience, kindness and not forgetting his funny side of him. He really went the extra mile to specifically modify one of his tools just because certain parts of my bike is not universal like everyone else. He can also multi-task handling other rider's bike issues just as they arrived his shop. Definitely my go-to service bike shop. His personal assistant cat "Handsome" is also very friendly and welcoming to pet her.

Been coming here for the longest time since I had my class 2A. Ah Chong is a very knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy, dependable and humorous old man. He's very helpful with tips and will not ask you to change parts that can still be used. He's super experienced with super 4, one of his forte, and other big bikes too. His price is very reasonable and you can get good discounts if you know how to heckle. Service with humor and smiles, that's Ah Chong. The old man with a loud voice, annoying antics and a master at sarcasm too.

I've been servicing with Planet since 2002. Yes, that's 20 years from my Super 4 and then my Fazer Fz1. Have great experience and have only been charged fair price for their services there. Ah Chong the owner and chief mechanic is without a doubt the best! If I can give more than 5 stars, I would.

Absolutely love it. The mechanics are very friendly. Dont seem at first, but once you start talking youll find that they are. Willing to give some of their advices or opinions on whats best for your bike. "Ah chong" is the name

First few times he might try cut throat a bit but trust me, def way way better than other place. Friendly and very nice uncle

Be 100% sure with them before repair. The boss is friendly but before u repair tell the boss dont change things which still can be use

Been visiting Ah Chong since I was riding my NSR150 back in 2009. Fair prices, no nonsense hardselling, only asking you to change the absolute necessary. As a bonus, Ah Chong is also a joker!

One of the most affordable and non scammy workshops around. Super experienced and funny chef mechanic. This is my go-to motorbike shop for almost all my bike problems. Wouldn't recommend for rare hippie bikes, Non stock bike configurations modifications and other modifications. Their contacts for parts is also quoted in a very reasonable price. Recommended to give them a call before going because they don't have parts for your problems at times and they may have to order (take 1-3days to reach them).

I had a great experience with the Chief mechanic uncle Ah Chong at Planet Motorcycle.
Bought my st1300 on 22FEB22 left with 3years COE with direct owner. Previous owner never replaced coolant in 5 years of his ownership. On 11MAR I did a coolant flush n next day brought bike to Lim ah boy kallang workshop to do eng oil change. Found coolant dripping from the fairing. The mechanic told me internal leaking might need to change water pump and recommend me to Bukit merah shop. I was so worried because I’m definitely will be charged high. Then called the previous owner and he recommend me to Planet motorcycle n look for Ah Chong.
Initially I’m sceptical but Ah Chong a funny person told me water pump need to replace and won’t be more than $500. I gave him my Brembo dot 4 fluid to flush clutch and brake. By 14MAR22 he rang me n all been settled. On 15Mar22 I collected the bike n Ah Chong says nw the bike ready to go to any part of Thailand and all in he charged me only $420.
I’m still a bit worried bout the bike n with his work.
On 17Mar22 I rode the bike from singapore to KL average speed 160-200KM/hr and came back to sing on 21mar22 with clocked in 800KM n max speed I tried was 240KM/hr. Not even a single hiccup or coolant drips or high temp. The brake n clutch feel very smooth n excellent.
I’m so happy with Ah Chong work n his dedication with the motorbike. Next time anything got to do with my st1300 pan European, definitely I will look for him.

Bike was acting funny vibrates and noisy and tough to throttle. Happened after my recent tyre change. Heard abt Planet motor good reviews and wanted to check out. Ah Chong checked by bike and within mins found the problem and fixed it. Tyre was not fitted properly. Really recommended his service. Charged a small fee for the fix.
