I am really disappointed about PayPal app and service!
For a traveller and travelling community might be necessary to be able to transfer small amounts by time to time but if for a 100$ is such a pain to do it with PayPal, better just give up and let others to offer this kind of services!

Biaya admin transfer ke bank lokal terlalu mahal, ditambah nilai tukar mata uang yang terlalu tinggi dan tidak menyesuaikan nilai tukar saat ini.

Pointless arguing with them. A useless payment option for business owners. If you want your payments received from clients delayed, use them at your own risk. They would even challenge you to name any other company whose t & c is better than them.

PayPal is definitely on its way out, it used to be much easier to manage one's account. As for PayPal Thailand, if you are an expat it turns out you can't use it, since you need to have a Thai ID to own an account. Simply ridiculous.

Received a payment from my US customer in USD, not to mention been frozen for 30 days, when I tried to transfer out it rejected as my account is SGD. So I proceed to set up another "multi-currency" bank account, still rejected! It ok, I tried again and set up another USD bank account, everything go smoothly and I thought i can finally get my money back, during the last step PayPal automatically convert the USD to SGD! Then system showed invalid again!? What must I do to get back MY MONEY! Will definitely closed and STOP using it after I get back my money.

I used to use them. But now after having so many business with them they would restrict my account or hold funds until delivery. Which I understand. But I have been using them for 12 years. Atleast they should acknowledge a long time customer. Anyways I switched over to Payoneer which is much better. No fees and exchange rate also much much better than PayPal. Bye bye PayPal. Would have given you 5 star but u have gone woke also now.

PayPal froze nearly $8,000 of my money over 'Security Concerns' for 6 months and refused to give any explanation, causing me to pay my vendors with my savings and threatening my livelihood and my business.

I did nothing wrong, did not violate their terms of service and consequently they were forced to return my money after loaning it to themselves interest free for 6 months.

This company is fraudulent, do not trust them with your money. They are behind Venmo too, so don't leave any money with Venmo either. Use Zelle instead.

Would give 0 stars if i could. PayPal permanently restricted my account for no apparent reason other than because i received a large amount of funds from my customer (isn't that the point of using paypal?) Because of the restriction, my fund received was held and i could not access it. Ended up i have to refund the customer and cancel the order. Called customer service hotline and explained to them what happened. CS said was due to the large sum of money entering my account and they will try to reinstate my account and get back to me in 72 hours.it's been almost a month and i never receive any updates.

Tedious company to deal with. Customer service is slow and convoluted. Worse still if your case takes multiple days to settle because it'll likely be a different representative helping you every day and they'll always ask for the same documents every single day. Unnecessary company

Terrible customer service! Takes hours to respond if at all. How is this company allowed to handle our money when they cant even afford to pay for customer service agents.

Extremely poor service, avoid PayPal.
They deducted the payment from my credit card and refused to pay the merchant until I give them a copy of my photo ID! … when I refused to share my personal data, they have refused to refund the payment back to my credit card!

Sadly can’t put zero stars because even 1 star is not for this lousy company. Should just close down in sg if you all only talk but no action. Called the first time and said they will block my transaction but 2 days later my transaction still go through! WOW good job! Called the second time and said will refund me but 1 week later i received an email saying refund not valid for me. Another wow! Decided to call again later and the person only said will review my case again and refund me:) we shall wait and see. Even if you got no other payment to use, die also don’t use paypal. Save yourself from all the anger and trouble

Usually I use a third party payment processor for my online store but had a wholesale client use Paypal for around a $30k order. Of course, the funds get frozen for 180 days, why? They request my business documents, which I provide. My account then gets restricted and I'm told I can no longer do business with Paypal, apparently violating their Terms of Service selling "Steroids". I am selling legal herbal supplements which are not banned and are perfectly legal to use in every country around the world.

I call customer support and ask to escalate, the guy tells me the funds are frozen, nothing I can do. I tell them it's an error, it's perfectly legal and I haven't done anything wrong. Nope, bad luck. Best I can do is he can appeal it for me, which will take 3-5 days. A week passes, nothing.

I call customer support a different time, somehow this guy says he can have the funds moved in a week, no problem. A week passes, nothing.

In the end, they have total control of the money in their system and impose excessive restriction of funds if your account gets incorrectly flagged. A 30 day lock I can understand, but 180? That's simply ludicrous. This can literally destroy peoples lives if they are in úrgent need of their money. I cannot support this practice and cannot recommend Paypal to anyone. Merchants, stay well clear.

If for some reason you must use Paypal, transfer funds out as soon as you receive it, don't leave funds sitting in the account, and don't use Paypal for significant orders, it is an extremely high risk.

PayPal service is appalling. I contacted them on a number of occasions to let them know i can't access my account but nobody moved one finger.everyone just passing the responsibility to someone else. Terrible organization!

Limited account without clear reason given. Won't even allow you to delete your account even after they've frozen it.would not recommend using paypal.

Account compromised, no way to report because every service require you to log in to your account, which you already lost. Message facebook, no reply, account service, no email. Just what kind of secret organization is this, so detached from the world. Probably easier to make a phone call across parallel universe.

As a merchant, Paypal have hold our funds for 180 days and promise to return after 22 February 2022. After 27 February 2022, there is still no update on the release of funds. I will NOT recommend as they are not merchant friendly. Paypal required holding funds for reserve with high transaction and dispute costs. I would avoid at all costs. Their actions will disrupt your cash flows and opportunity costs.
