Munchi Pancakes reviews
31My family and I love munchi’s pancake very much! We never fail to give this stall a miss whenever we visit Fernvale Hawker centre
Good selections of flavours to choose from. Good traditional snacks for on the go. Must try especially the bischoff flavour
Pros: very very very tastey. Nice flavors. Perfect size. Appetizing. Favorites: beligian chocolate, biscoff, peanut butter.
Cons: wait lines can be long, flavors get sold out quickly
Queue is long during peak hours but overall, really love their pancakes! The filling overflows and quality is consistent.
They offer unique flavour like biscoff and sesame for the pancakes filling. Pancakes is chewy and flavourful even when it turns cold.
Tasty and well-done Min Jiang Kueh, which is soft overall and crispy on the edges, but personally I find the filling (peanut in my case) a bit too much. Can be quite ‘jelat’. Will be perfect if filling is reduced by 10-15%.
Have been regularly buying their pancakes since they opened at Fernvale CC. Pancakes are always soft and chewy. My favourite flavours are peanut and black sesame as the paste is thick and crunchy. Queues are always long in the morning especially during the weekends.
Interesting flavours of MIN JIANG KUEH! And very friendly store owner gave me the side of the kueh as requested
Generous amount of fillings for all flavours of pancake. My favourite fillings are black sesame and coconut.
Excellent service and great value for money MJK! Friendly too. Can't beat it! Highly recommended! The charcoal versions are pretty unique and tasty!

Nice pancakes! Always long queue in the evening. Glad I came in the morning and there’s no queue!
The best place to get a snack to perk you up between meals:) It’s traditional min jiang kueh with a twist! Love their Charcoal Black Sesame and Peanut MJKs:) Definitely need to try if you’re in Fernvale CC Hawker Centre. Did I mention that it starts from just $1.40 as well?
Very yummy MJK (pancakes)! My favourite is the old school peanut flavour. Although they have many different unique flavours and skin
I have tried charcoal peanut traditional pancake, green tea black sesame traditional pancake and mini munchis. All are very yummy. The peanuts filling is crunchy and fragrant. The sweetness level is just nice.
Who knew black sesame and black charcoal is such a FANNNNNNtatic combination? Apparently they do and now, so do I. If you spot it, give it a try.
LIFECHANGING EXPERIENCE. Try the traditional biscoff mee chiam kueh - the generous spread of biscoff paste with crunchy biscuits mixed in contrasting with the QQ mee chiam kueh.yum! Have it while warm
Seriously for those giving high stars, never eat before decent pancakes, this is only 1 or 0.5 star standard. Try to explore further than Sengkang, there’s far better and cheaper ones than this. Seriously
Filling for the munchi is too little! Attitude was very bad! Kopitiam card run below amount, we asked politely if we can top up card? Immediately he rejected us from doing it and demanding for cash payment rudely…as reason was long Q behind. Saying no to a customer is not the professional way in service line. Quite Disappointing!
Long queue everyday. So decided to try their peanut pancake. Quite big piece, but the peanut was a bit too little. Have to eat it immediate.
Ate it like 15 mins later coz tabao and the crispy part was too tough to bite.
One of them was hot from the oven so it was still crispy.
Wanted to try their mini pancakes and different flavours but not available yet. Hope they will get better and better as the time goes.
Will try again during off peak period
