McDonald's Queensway reviews
58 This McDonalds outlet must be the most scenic one in Singapore. Set in the middle of a Japanese-style garden off a busy road, this restaurant offers an oasis for all-weather dining, in its airconditioned indoor or breezy outdoor areas.
But what sets this outlet apart from the other branches is the warm and personable crew, led by manager Ms Patimah. She is warm and friendly, and extremely helpful and stops to chat with diners and make them feel welcome. And she is obviously a good role model for her colleagues!
On our visit today, she handled a minor product hiccup with professionalism and genuine service recovery which made us feel that McDonalds really values its customers' feedback.
We hope that McDonalds recognises the efforts that Ms Patimah and her crew put into their work.
Nothing much has changed since I was here very many years ago. Pretty villa-esque setting. Also have not had MacD's big breakfast for many years. Could be the rose-tinted memories. Weren't the food supposed to fill the container? Back then, were the eggs, patty and muffin as small and dried out as they are now?
Probably the most beautiful McDonald’s in this room. Love to come here for breakfast as the aircon is good (too many mosquitos there in the evening)
Also there is a playground and the toilets here are clean and spacious. Great to bring kids
Japanese themed outdoor garden surrounding the restaurant, all while enjoying your favourite McD stuff. Just a shame that such an environment is next to the busy Queensway road. If it can be tucked further in or somewhere that is quieter would be perfect. Overall highly recommend to take a trip down at least once to enjoy the concept.
The McDonald's location is quite picturesque, with a charming small pond in front where you can spot many turtles. Children will certainly enjoy discovering this unique feature at McDonald's.
Nice environment compared to most other McDonald's restaurants. Spacious and easy to find seats during off peak hours. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Outdoor seating with a pond next to it. If you are lucky, you get to see otters swimming there or napping around.
One of the larger restaurants with seating, plus a kids play area. The carpark isn't very large, but there is usually ample space. Leaving may be a small challenge as the traffic can be heavy and vehicles are moving at 70kmph.
Newly renovated, it's much bigger now, there a non aircon but sheltered area and a small playground for smaller kids.
Kinda sad, this McDonald has become smaller. Seats has become lesser and limited. Now it don't open 24 hours everyday, only on weekend. Missed those days in the past.
Unique setting. You can't get a better McDonald's in Singapore (other than those in the airport)
Reduced in size and very limited seating. So it is not a good place for dining in. Didn't make it in after a long wait on a Tuesday morning (also because of school holiday crowd). Unless you are there for Far East Floral and see it empty.
Ample parking though.
It was a bigger restaurant but not is smaller, it have been here for very long time. It bring back old memory
Terrible ordering experience via grab food with them. Order breakfast via grab but they didn't give use servettes and hash brown. Ordered tea w milk but came black tea. Food quality was so so or below average. Buy at your own risk.
Prob the only mcdonald with a nice pond with tortises and fishes. Feed sensibly and do not liter into the pond please.
Nice and comfortable restaurant with friendly service. Restaurant is clean and service is warm and welcoming.
One of the floor staff is good. He communicate with almost everyobe. Clearing the customer's trays with a big wide smile.
There is Christmas tree there now. It was raining when I went recently. They have someone to open the door to make sure you put down your umbrella by the entrance. I ordered via the self service kiosk but the number just displayed the number for a while and the staff calling out the number is not loud enough with the music that was playing.
Not crowded with people. Love the environment. Good for those who like to take your work or assignment to McD.
Let's face the fact: McDonald's tastes the same wherever you go.
But what make this branch different is the location. Imagine yourself having your burger in a branch next to a small pond, surrounded by some lovely green scenery. There are also plenty of parking lots available for those who are driving. The staff are quite friendly too! Definitely a good spot to have a quick bites compared to the other branches that are crowded.
