3Not all Musical, Disney, Greatest showman or Frozen songs are available as compared to other karaoke. Received spoilt microphones most of the times and the rooms all tooooooooo COLD! After a while of singing you will feel like you're in a fridge or freezer.
The condition of the interior could be excused because to me that's not really important. However, the constant issues with the sound system meant that we had to keep interrupting our singing to call for technical support. Furthermore, the lack of certain songs compared to other karaoke places made Manekineko less attractive.
Nonetheless, the deals are not bad and the food variety for the snack bar is decent. However, a proper cup should be given for slushies instead of mugs.
Manekineko
1) Rundown, shabby, peeling walls. 2) Sham of a promotion ($1/h/pax weekday, $2/h/pax weekend) as they charged a compulsory $4 drink charge per person where it is nowhere mentioned on its website or the Goodyfeed promotion board. 3) Booked a room for 4. But could only fit 3pax. 4) Dirt or something growing in 1 of the microphones and did not provide microphone cover until asked. No wonder it had dirt in it. 5) For the freeflow drinks, many options were unavailable or had plain water coming out only. 6) For a Japanese ktv, none of the Japanese songs had any MVs. 7) Lights dimmer doesnt work. No usual ktv party lights. 8) Bad construction as the door is always stuck. 9) At first one of our friends couldnt make it but they refused to refund us despite 3 pax being the minimum and we had 3 of us.
Conclusion: Slum.
One piece of advice: NEVER GO THERE.
Sorry, i tried to be objective and tried to come up with a good point but there wasnt. Other than the fact we were not stabbed in Orchard i doubt there was any good points.
