Newly renovated hotel lobby space and modern classic rejuvenated colour scheme was impressive. Stayed in a family premium room 1618 and loved the over sized balcony which could benefit from some minor touch up lighting, green plants and paint decor enhancements. This balcony seems quite an asset and could potentially maximise the visual enjoyment of the renovated hotel room. Understand the hotel is at the final phases of renovation and I am looking forward in staying at one of the new suites or club room next year to experience new club lounge hospitality.
Whilst the renovations are incomplete and I do not particularly like the brown walls with white strokes, the room is spacious and beautiful. The view is amazing, the breakfast spread is awesome, and the service rendered is also excellent!
Probably one of the best-run hotels in the world, largely due to attentive and hospitable staff in addition to the high level of amenity.
After renovation, it has been more perfect!
Especially, I love swimming pool and view from Mandarin.
One of the best hotels in SG! Its become a must to have a staycay here at least once a year for my family:) Thank you for always providing excellent service and making us feel valued.
Location is great as you are situated in a shopping mall while across the road you’ll find yourself in a singaporean local food street.
The room itself is adequately facilitated, but the best view has to be the floor to ceiling open lobby.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, and I would rate my experience 4 stars out of 5. The hotel boasts a luxurious and elegant ambiance, creating a sophisticated atmosphere from the moment you step through the doors. The staff members were attentive, professional, and provided excellent service throughout my stay, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly and efficiently. From the friendly receptionists to the helpful concierge, the hotel staff made me feel welcome and taken care of.
The rooms at the Mandarin Oriental were spacious, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated, offering a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The attention to detail was evident in the high-quality furnishings and amenities provided, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay. The breathtaking views of the city skyline from the room added to the overall charm of the hotel.
This hotel is 5 and is linked to shopping mall & restaurants.
Location is fantastic, especially during F1 Grand Prix Singapore.
MO does some things different from other hotels that sets it apart. Some other 5* hotels leave it up to clients to pick up pool towel and return whereas MO has staff attending to you and also serving complimentary cold water which is very welcomed after a swim.
Even though we only stayed for a night they have a mid day room cleanup and I was pleasantly surprised that they used a simple Velcro MO cable tied to do some cable management for my iPhone charger.
While some hotels have staff go around pouring tea MO serves them in individual cups as you order them. 3 types to choose from and not just one standard English tea. Not to mention there were plenty of staff around to attend to you and to clear your plates as soon as you finish so that you have a clean table after you come back from another round of buffet selection.
The breakfast buffet is one with the widest variety I have ever seen. Cold cuts section has a lot of cold cuts that I have never seen before. They also have a healthy breakfast section with organic honey, nuts and oats as well as gluten free bakes.
All in all I honestly feel pampered by the hotel and realised what I have been missing out: an outstanding level of customer service that is different from other so called 5* hotels.
The hotel is clean and staffs are friendly. I have an excellent stay at the ocean view room.
Housekeeping well keep the room n is very clean.
Thank you so much!
We had the most wonderful stay as a family. The staff were wonderful, very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to staying again one day soon!
Love everything about it. The food is not halal but you can ask the chef to point out which dishes are made of halal meat with no alcohol.
The best thing about the Mandarin Oriental was the warm, attentive nature of hotel staff - from the greeting when I walked in the front door, to the smile from the lady who made up my room, the very polite and friendly conversations from breakfast servers.well done.
Sehr schöner Pool! Preis für die Zimmergrösse zu hoch! Welcome Geschenk 2 Flaschen Limonade ist kein Highlight! Bei Hilton gibt deutlich mehr.
Besides the facilities and the amzing location and proximity to amenities, the staff were incredible!
The food was amazing, customer service was good.
I went for my friend wedding on Sunday.
Each serving is by plate and the environment is pleasant and comfortable
Attending my youngest sister wedding at this hotel. We stay at 23th floor, nice SG view from my balcony.
Their food is nice too. Love the interior design which make me feel like I walk into a giant space ship.
Issue 1. Room key stopped working and your front desk couldn't locate my booking. When checked in, I told your reception staff that my travel agent made two bookings, one for 1 night and another for 3 nights. The agent made a mistake during booking since I was going to stay for 4 nights (4th - 8th of Nov.) consecutively. I was promised by the staff that she checked me in for 4 nights and I would have the same room over my stay. On 5th afternoon, when I returned to my room, the key didnt work. I went to the front desk, he could only see my second booking (3 nights) which means I need to check out and check in again. In the end, the issue was resolved by the manager on duty.
Issue 2. The room under my colleague's name not mine. Although the previous issue was resolved, I found out that the room was under my colleague's name not mine at the breakfast the next day. When I checked out, the invoice was under my colleague's name including the e-Invoice. I gave up and it was really early check out. I didn't want to go through this with the front desk staff
Truly fantastic hotel in Singapore. Facing the Bay and Marina. Situated closely to the Formula 1 course. Rooms, bathrooms, service and teams are amazing. Great breakfast and food available. The views over the bay and ocean are amazing. A great place to stay and have some relaxing nights
