33 The boy cashier was rude and seemed moody. He was probably tired after a long day or the shop nearly closed.
Happened on 6 Jan 2024, at about 9.54pm.
The cashier (lady) with short hair was not friendly, feel offended.
While other staff is serving with good attitude.
Experience of service was outstanding staff was glad to guide me through the app for my mobile order.
Had to wait half an hour after ordering from the app before my drink was ready.
When I arrived at the store, none of the staffs were making any drinks for 10-15mins, only one male cashier walking around the front and the rest walking in and out the room behind. Not sure if they ran out of tea or something but if that's the case, customers should be informed or stop taking orders temporarily right?
After 20mins of waiting my friend went to ask about the waiting time and if our order is ready. I could hear the female staff loudly say "need to wait" all the way from beside the escalator. No apologies, no estimated time of how long we need to wait, no updates.
Then after 25mins, suddenly a huge amount of drinks being brought out from the room behind. Only one male staff slowly gently packing each drink and staring at each receipt, taking almost a whole minute just to put 2 drinks in a bag and staple the receipt. Might be a new staff but at least pretend to be trying to work fast.
After I got my two Earl grey milk tea with no sugar, one of the drinks tasted mostly of milk, very little tea taste while the other drink was fine.
Seeing other reviews from past few months about service too, looks like no actions taken I guess.
Ordered milk tea with 25% sugar, but when received it tasted bland and like water.also the staff members were VERY rude, there was this auntie who was doing the cashiering and she was very rude when taking my order, talking in a tone as if i owe her something.not to mention that she kept sighing as well, its very clear that she didnt like her job lol.another experience is that they recently removed the dustbin from the pickup area, and from previous experiences, you pass the staff member your receipt/leave it on the counter and they will throw it away for you, so i assumed it would be the same.i put my receipt on the counter to show the staff my order number and took my drink and she just rudely told me to take my receipt away.overall left a bad taste in my mouth.if you want milk tea just go to koi instead
The staff was friendly and I got my order very quickly, and their tone was friendly too. Overall, a great experience
Drinks are great but the service staff is rather rude. Though it's understandable as they seem to be rather short staffed. There was a large crowd waiting for their drinks and they were churning out drinks non-stop. Members drink M size for only $2.
With Liho's new mobile app, the numbers do not get called out from the monitor and it was really hard to track the orders made in their app. Many customers were seen asking about their orders but the drinks were clearly not prepared yet due to the backlog.
I was a little confused about some names and was also looking for a vegan option. I had to ask the staff many questions - they did not offer any help on their own. Also, if you want to order oat milk tea you have to order the regular tea and 'upgrade' to oat milk. I knew from visiting another bubble tea shop that you had to say 100%, 75%, 50% etc for how much sugar you want. Please make these clearer on the menu itself or offer help to new customers.
Want to use Nets flashpay to pay. However, staffS said dont have this type of payment method and is only available at other outlet. HA HA HA I used before at Jem outlet.and the NETS FLASHPAY IS JUST ON THE SCREEN. Press and key amount can already... Never work before at Liho I also know how to use LOLS. This means that you can only choose the payment method which the cashier know how to handle... ALL the STAFF need MORE trainings on the different kinds of paying method. If not just put a sign with "accept cash only"...
Bad service. Ask for less pearls, says cannot have such request. Hello I have a medical condition! Furthermore the staff serving is a senior. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
If your kitchen is not available for Large and hot option. Told us earlier. No refunds, no any others option and just saying sorry our kitchen is cooking the pearl, you need to wait for 30 min. That's it? ! Quite a good customer service. Can't you told us earlier before we pay?
7: 39pm queue was not long and Liho free membership came with a medium sized drink FOC on birthday month.

The young girl who took over the ordering at the cashier was unfriendly. Speaking over with a mask on her speech was unclear and had to be repeated twice before clarified that she was speaking on the choice of bubble. Although the amount is small, the adding of pearl is payable and was not advised by her.
Drink was ready within 2 minutes.
Came here yesterday (17th oct) around 9: 07pm. After I got my drink, I turn and shake the cup to mix the drinks but the cup was not fully sealed and the drinks spilled. It got onto my phone as well. However, when I asked for tissue, the staff doing her work at the cashier just told me they do not have tissue and did not bother to assist me at all even though the drinks spilled and on their counter table. The staff are really unfriendly. Hope they will improve on their customer service. As I certainly did not enjoy my customer service experience.
Only one staff manning and she's so rude. Supposed to redeem earl grey golden pearl MT but was told golden pearl not available and unable to swap for other topping. Receipt still printed with golden pearl though. I think this LiHO should close down better.
Ordered da hong pao oat latte. But no oat milk at all, just thick da hong pao, taste awful bad. Pick the tea then go home, called outlet to complain, but their attitude was so bad. Will not go to this outlet again.
Damn attitude staff.
I asked if the cookie machi is fresh milk, she said yes but I just wanted to clarify again just incase.it doesn't hurt to just clarify one more time what.then she ignored me so I asked one more then, with the most smug look and arrogant tone, she just look and said u asked me and I already said right?
The staff was not wearing a name badge. This is 8sept. 9pm.
The staff had very light brown hair, she did not wear spectacles. Will not come to this outlet again. It was just a simple clarification
Extremely rude staff at the outlet. Very impatient and spoke with a bad tone. I’ve never experienced such bad customer service before. My milk tea was also tasteless, probably was just milk with no tea. Extremely bad experience I will not be back.
Didn’t get the staff’s name because she wasn’t wearing a name tag but she was incredibly rude. I rushed to JEM to get bbt since this outlet is supposed to close at 10: 30 PM. Got in queue at 9: 58 PM. Two people were in front of me, and when it was my turn, the staff said they’re not taking orders anymore. I was the only one left in line and it was really easy to make my day.
Liho Jem seriously understaff. Drinks that are ready after covers are sealed are left sitting for 10mins before we can get buzzed for collection. Staffs are just too busy making drinks for new orders.
A phillipine woman name Marilyn at jem outlet LiHo, doing things at her own sweet time. When there is a very long queue. She have no sense of urgency at all. Very frustrated looking at how she do things, we only order 2 drinks. She took more than 20 minutes to finish it.
