Killiney Kopitiam reviews
18The place is not so big, so you maybe have to wait before seated. But it’s worth the wait. You can have your breakfast like locals do. But they suit for lunch too because they have heavy meal.
Simple and easy, so delicious french toast breakfast. Anyway, i saw many people order the boiled eggs, but not me.
3 days straight breakfast at this place. Great taste, great price, great value. Everything is recommended. Laksa is my favorite. But the humble nasi lemak is also fantastic. 6 am to 6 pm opening hours is lovely! The place will always be packed and hard to find seatings tho.
This is the original location of what has become a Singapore institution. The food isn't healthy or great, but is filling.
My friend eats laksa and thinks it's good. I personally eat kaya toast and soy milk jelly for my part. Although it doesn't suit my taste, the boss is nice and very friendly
Came here for teh si kosong, after being disappointed with this drink from another shop.
This is a nice and casual place for breakfast, lunch or tea.
The food will suit everyone's pallete.
We came here so many times and tried most of their food. No complaints.
Local breakfast was delicious. French loaf toast (Kaya sandwiched between French bread), that crunchy feeling is the best️ Laksa was also delicious.
I heard that this is the birthplace of this group. It's more spacious than the other store I usually use, and I feel like the staff's service is the same as the usual store. I think it's a good place to taste the local atmosphere.
I’m new in Singapore and not so familiar with the menu here. I tried to order several different dishes for trying (we are a group of 4). The old man who received my order was not friendly at all, could be very rude. I will try the dishes here but probably not go back due to bad impression
Tourist’s point of view: Coffee is still very Singaporean, and toast is not inferior to famous shops
After trying all other disappointing outlets of Killiney, only this will do justice to its name.
Their bread toast is a MUST-TRY. You can’t say you have tried Killiney without eating their toast. The drinks are also awesome and the place is kept very clean
Great all day local food which was close to our serviced apartment and a good place to meet friends. Wide choice of local Singaporean favorites to suit my western palate and local friends. Always busy but friendly and relaxed.
This place is packed and rightfully so! This kopitiam is a piece of 100-year old living history with all the original facilities still in operation. Expect your kopi, milo, or tee to be the of the top quality and authenticity, as much as your typical Kaya toast and eggs. Enjoy the quirky jokes posted along the walls of the space. ;)
Really worth paying! U feel super satisfied after eating it. Luv the curry noodles and mee goreng (sorry too yummy n ate them before taking photos) the toast makes u even more hungry
Very nice kopitiam, the noodle is very nice (mee siam If I remember correctly), quite busy in the morning, expect to wait a few minutes. But be warned, the staff doesn't really speak english.just signing on the menu and stuff works wonder.
Interesting place. They claim to be the oldest Kopitiam (coffee shop) in Singapore. They lose a point for being out of many dishes. VERY limited menu.no diet drinks. Delicious toasted fresh bread.
Coffee place that kept their true Singaporean heritage.right down to the restaurant furniture. And food prices are also reasonable.
Service was fast. Got our food in minutes
Horrible experience! Ordered coffee. When I tried the drink and it turned out to be Milo, I approached the staff but the staff looked at me and simply said that I'd already drank it and refused to replace it. He was rude and dismissive.
