Jovis Cafe - The Dining Place

Food was okie. But could be better.
But it’s definitely what you see is what you get.

Jovis Cafe is a hidden gem that combines a cozy ambiance with delightful food. The curry chicken with rice exceeded expectations, with two generous drumsticks and perfectly cooked potatoes. The Linguine Seafood Marinara, which I tried from a friend's plate, stood out with its uniquely spicy tomato sauce and sizable tiger prawns. Jovis Cafe is a must-visit for those seeking a warm atmosphere and satisfying, flavorful dishes.

Definitely a hidden gem cafe at Clementi. Me & my bf’s all-time favourite cafe for the past 6 yrs, we always try to visit this cafe when we’re at West side. Cheezy bacon fries are the bomb! A must try! Mushroom pizza has a very generous toppings! And to top it all toffee nut latte - u will never go wrong! Very friendly staff, cozy ambiance, great food in a lovely neighbourhood, what else can you ask for! A must must must try!

Great coffee and ambience. Feel lucky I stumbled upon this hidden gem, and will definitely be back.

1.cozy, great ambience, it is very quiet most of the time and hence very study/work friendly. 2.they've got the nicest staff ever! When my friend's credit card wasn't working, the staff told her she could get the food first and paynow them when the card works. 3.very decent food and drinks.highly recommend chicken chop and tiramisu!

Easy place to dine.meaning it's as casual a cafe as can be. Maybe it's the low ceilings, or the furnishing, or the staff or all of it. Adds up to a homely environment where you just help yourself to the lemon-flavoured cold water dispenser and additional cutlery if needed. Food is okay, and prices could be friendlier, but no harm and no foul. Kiddo likes our fam to pop in every now and then (for all the kids toys, books, rocking horse, little piano, etc.that are all over the place), so we do.

Homely, quiet and a place that can be comfortable or uncomfortable depending on whether you are a regular customer or not.
I passed by the place a few times but this is the first time I stepped in. Cutlery and water are available upon self-service. I find the baked mushroom rice overpriced at $20.

Vefy cosy and country feel to this cafe which is not over-crowded. Food serving is quite big and there are many areas within the cafe to entertain kids with toys, small cars, a small toy piano etc so parents can dine enjoyably too.

Fish and chips - superb. Esp w vinegar! So appetising.
Jalapeno wings - soso.
Mamas curry chicken - good portion and taste.
Choc Pistachio cake - more chocolatey than pistachio but still rrly yummy.

I m just surprised that there are so many hidden gems in unknown neighborhoods of Singapore. The cafe was good. But we just reached at the closing time but were able to have a good dinner after a run. The food was good with vegetarian options. The cafe is a self service for cutleries and water.

Food is good. But service is extremely slow and unprofessional. They cannot handle more than 10 diners at a go. Orders will take more than an hour to come. Also kids food took more than 1 hr but no offer of service recovery as well. Just said sorry. Very poor service experience

I've said it before, and I am saying it again: who says there are no good eating spots in the West?

There are, and Faber Drive is one example. You just have to look for them in maps.

My wife found Jovis by chance, but I would attribute it to divine purposes.

It is located at the end of a short detour from the busy Boon Lay - commonwealth stretch. Once there, you are greetee6by a whole "family" of unique eateries you won't find in malls.

Walk into Jovis, and you will be whisked into a whole new world - one of tranquility and serenity. The decor is tasteful and gave a homely feeling.

The food is great. Service is discreet and yet attentive. We spent a few hours there on a balmy Saturday afternoon. Yeah, we came to the right place on the right day.

The washroom is another whole new experience (see photos).

My favourite place to be, every time i come it feels like home. Food is second to none, and the ambience sets the perfect mood for me everyday. Vivi and melody treat me like family where no other establishment can replace.

Had to wait ~45min for the food due to peak hours, but it was worth the wait. Food is really nice.

First time to Jovis. A very cozy and well decorated place for a meal or a cup of coffee. Staff are friendly and food are delicious. Mocha is a little sweeter to my liking, Chicken chop is nicely prepared and curry is yummy. Will definitely be back again to try other dishes!

Reasonably priced and nice food. Cosy place. My girl literally had carbonara almost every cafe/restaurant we went to, she loves the carbonara here the best.

Atmosphere was good but there wasn't alot of instructions given. Like we need to order at the counter directly and gettinv water & cutleries are self-service, hence we felt very confused when we wanted to order our food and when our meal is served without cutleries. Server didn't look very friendly either.

We had the Fish n Fries and the Chicken Chop.
Both were fantastic.
The Fish batter was light n very crispy.
Very crispy until I finished my meal.
The Chicken Chop was tasty n thick.
Both dishes came with thick cut fries.
The mixed salad was generous.
Delicious.
I highly recommend this casual eatery.

This place brings you the much needed solace after a long day at work or school. An unassuming family-style cafe with a rustic and homey atmosphere, Jovis's creates a very comforting vibe right even before you step inside. I thank the owners for creating this space where you can just unwind over simple yet delicious home-cooked food.
