Good Old Days Food Court

I forgot to take a picture while eating.so the picture is not attached.
Four people came on a family trip, and it was a food court, and although it was self-ordering and picking up, it wasn't difficult to use. Excluding certain menu items, the price is around $10. Please also refer to the children-only menu.

I ordered 4 dishes of Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, nasi goreng, and fried noodles, and all four were delicious.
I thought the Hainanese chicken rice was a bit lacking, but the rice was seasoned like fried rice and was delicious.
The Laksa soup had a strong fish cake flavor, and other than the noodles being a bit swollen, the toppings were plentiful and decent.
The dry noodles also had plenty of toppings and were edible.
The nasi goreng was also good because there was something to eat on the side.

If you boil the noodles and serve them on a plate, they may swell, so I recommend eating some type of rice.

I bought a ticket that included this restaurant, but it was almost sold out and there was no food. (Arrived after 8pm)
The food was served to me while I was watching the situation, so it was a shame since I was paying so much for it.

The shop is clean and cool.
Spacious, many menu options to choose from. The prices are very affordable. The vara staff are friendly and give very good advice. Recommend here

Today we have 10pax from Taiwanese group for lunch at good old days at level one, guest very happy about service by ganesan. Warm welcome by vara, very friendly and good service by ganesan&vara.

The food is exceptional here, and the air conditioning is a life saver. The staff were mediocre, but the food makes up for it.

Very wonderful experience at good old days restaurant at level 1’since level 2 on going renovations, the service was very unbelievable, mostly went busy periods at night after the show 7.40pm.we have a Asian buffet ticket.went we approach to restaurant they are full booked by other customers, the person incharge Ganesan manage to give us the table inside for two of us.and explain to us about Asian buffets flow.we are very happy about his service. I’m also from hospitality management, went i see him he handled the group and walk in customer just like cool, he is very well train staff, salute to the manager.

Affordable and above average food quality. Most importantly, I appreciate the good service at Good Old Days. We had dinner today at level 1 since the renovation is ongoing upstairs. The Indian lady Shella and chef on duty are very helpful to accommodate our ala carte request.

There are many types of meals, but the food tastes average, so don’t expect too much. However, this restaurant is the only one around the beach station that has air conditioning and a relatively clean and comfortable environment. In Singapore, where the weather is hot, this may be the best choice.

We were initially hesitant choosing Good Old Days but found ourselves very pleasantly surprised and delightfully full.

Our family are discerning eaters, and they all found something to rave about. We had nasi lemak, curry laksa, ayam penyet, and nasi briyani. With the exception of nasi lemak, which was made in a Westernised manner, the other dishes were authentically delicious. However, I am not quite sure about the effectiveness of the nasi lemak dish.which has been reintepreted and reconfigured by the restaurant's cooks.

The decor inside is plain but subtly elegant, and the environment is a comfortable haven away from the outside heat.

From a waitering perspective, we didn't expect a 5 service, but on this Tuesday (5.30pm, 22 Aug 2023), we found one front of house lady staff slightly abrupt, bordering on rude. Perhaps she needs more training.

On the whole, we enjoyed the food and will remember our time here. Staff service needs improvement in order to bring Good Old Days to the next level. Perhaps in our next visit, we will see positive change?

It's a dinghy old restaurant with non-matching decor and unclean trays. The food was cold and dry and bland and seemed old. Save your money and go somewhere else at Sentosa.

Ambience and service is wonderful. One of the staff call Mike kwok is nice & friendly.

Mike has an atrocious working attitude. He was manning the counter when I was trying to place an order for lunch. The first thing I did was greet him with a "hi", he ignored me, I thought he didn't hear me. So I said hi again when we made eye contact. He frowned and shoot me with a "have you tried ordering online? " I said uh yea but I can pay here right? He asked "cash? " I said, no, card. He said then you can order online even tho I was right in front of the counter already. I tried to explain that I don't have a physical credit card with me and only have paywave in my phone. Then he hesitantly took my order. Donning the Mount Faber Leisure uniform, he definitely gave the entire organisation a horrible name:). Rubbish service with mediocre food. I will never come back again.

This was not what I expected. I thought it was a hawker center type place but it’s not. You wait to be seated by a host and then order from a QR code. It’s very expensive compared to the hawker centers off island. A meal is $8+ while it would normally cost $3 in any other place. It also looks very Westernized. There is AC and plenty of seating since it’s not free seating.

I entered the restaurant at 7 pm and they told me we have a private event and it will finish 7: 45 and i come back after 45 minutes, they told there is another private event, sorry.rude

Good value for money food in Sentosa where food n services are expensive.
Recommended. Just next to monorail station.
