Golden Mile Food Centre reviews
47 Foods like CKT, Hainanese beef noodles, and Indian cuisine are worth trying.
Please visit and try the grass jelly store located on the upper floor. The lady boss replaced one for me even though it was me who dropped it on the floor accidentally.
Very big food centre/hawker centre with wide variety of food stalls. But the food were not the best I’ve tried. Food centre is considerably clean and tidy except for a few corners.
I have been eating here regularly for the past 7 years. In the past year, perhaps twice a week.
This hawker centre has 2 levels, and a decent selection of different cuisines. Some of the stalls have been here for very long!
I personally feel this is a place you can bring your foreign friends to sample the plethora of food; local and regional. It isn't air-conditioned, but the fans prevents it from getting stuffy.
It's easy to satisfy different appetites too - hearty and filling, light and soupy, or even just a dessert and coffee.
This place is best visited in the day, especially during lunch. Some of the popular options such as the lor mee and braised duck gets sold out by lunch.
My personal favourites are:
- Lor mee
- Taiwan braised pork rice
- Chilli mee
- Hokkien mee
- Chicken rice
- Hainanese curry rice
- The original vadai
- Fried kway teow
- Chicken chop
- Avocado juice
Parking can be tricky and long queues are common. If you drive, consider the multi-storey carpark nearby among the hdb flats.
Great Hawker center with a great variety of amazing food.all cuisines available! I love my hawker center
It is a nice hawker center, with lots of variety of Singaporean food to choose from. I had a bowl of fish soup, and a cup of coconut milk avocado juice. The food was ok, and the drink was very good!
The chicken rice that I ate in line was really delicious and reasonably priced I was able to find avocado juice, so it is recommended for those who are looking for local food
This was one of our favourite hawker centres that we visited in Singapore. Unlike some others it felt like we were amongst local people going about their day to day lives. There was a good selection of dishes to choose from and cheap beers!
This three-story hawker center, basement and second floor is a cooked food center with a wide range of food, including Western food, Chinese fast food, stir-fries, coffee, beer, and desserts. The third floor sells military supplies, such as clothes.badges.shoes and more!
One of the better hawker centers in Singapore. There's a big variety of good food here at a reasonable price.
Local & International foods can be found in this local hawker center. Reasonable price, flavourful foods & spoilt for choices.
Ok place for eating Thai foods. It’s good for shopping of rare herbs, fruits and vegetables, or any Thai condiments. There’s a big Thai supermarket for all cooking needs.
Ate here today, ordered the garlic and herb toast from stall 01-60.
Bruh I never tasted garlic bread this good before. 14/10 will come again just for the bread.
They prep your food as you order, so the bread is freshly cooked (?) Only after you order.
Now I regret eating something else while waiting for the garlic bread.
Can’t wait to bring my family here on another weekend ️
Not much to tell when everyone knws abt the plc.well u get most nice local dish here for a gd price.n it's worth the wait.
Comes here just to have prawn and ribs noodle. But found a very nice satay stall located level 2.
First time visit. Wide varieties of stalls, selling Malay & Indian food. But ate at Charlie, peranakan food & can't comment on the other stalls. Food at Charlie is so so only. Will go back to try other stalls if ever near the location.
The open air gantry carpark to the food centre is forever full and sometimes will need to queue for quite awhile to get in. So don't really want to visit there. The food centre has 2 levels of food stall, mainly the Muslim food stalls are all at the basement of the food centre. People head there for the tulang, vadai, and I tried the Gado gado from the famous satay and grilled chicken wing stall. The upper level has this nice ah baling peanut soup stall, if you are craving for some nice hot sweet dessert (Tang yuan). There is also a famous claypot rice which always have a very long queue and definitely long waiting time.
Overrated food stall, especially a normal coffee stall also have ridiculous long queue. Not sure the coffee really have special aroma worth that waiting. The space between tables and chairs is very tight not easy to walk pass.
Must visit Hainanese Hokkien Fried Noodle and the ah balling stall. Oatla is recommended for the lactose intolerant and vegan friends.
Located below the "Army Market", this bustling two-storey food centre boasts a wide array of hawker fare catering to most preferences. Busy as always on the weekday rush hour, less so on the weekends. Do note some stalls are closed on the weekend I visited. Not sure if it is based on schedule or was it just a one-off.
Well, those who say you can't get good old authentic Hawker food in Singapore obviously haven't been to Beach Road Hawker Centre!
