So glad they are back and with a lovely ambience, and good wifi. The coffee is still good and comes with soy or oat options. Kombucha is from a can and comes in three flavors. Options for mains are good. Brunch menu ends at 5.15pm. Overall a good choice to chill out with good coffee.

Worst front service ever, wrong order given and couldn’t be bothered to explain.plenty of choices else where.

Strawberry waffles and dessert tasted great Yummy, good as not too sweet! Welcoming service from male staff.

On the corner of the street with a nice view, the service is superb and the staff are very friendly. I tried their coffee latte with oat milk and its indeed among my best cafes in Singapore

Beautiful cafe for a coffee break. The cappuccino and strawberry waffles is nice. It is a great match. The atmosphere is great for relaxing time. Will definitely visit the cafe again.

Milk was slightly lumpy.

There was a pounding bass coming from somewhere that my earplugs couldn't cover up.

Filter brew coffee: ordered one with specially house made beans, it just tastes like the one I bought from the fresh market- $10 for 10 sacks inside. This one cost me $11 for a cup. Not recommended it.

Food here is not as good as the East Coast outlet. Paid $8 for ice mocha that sucks big time. Overall abit pricey for the quality.

Ambient is really good. Kombucha is nice. Food soso. Ordered seabass, appearance ok but smell a bit fishy. Waffles normal, not crunchy. Shall visit again for brunch.

Worked in the area and had lunch here. Did not have to wait for a table. Perhaps because we came early. Service was fine, food was pretty average as well. Not sure what the hype is about.

Edit - as of Jan 2023 coffee now cost $7.06!

The coffee is nice but they charge $6 and only fill the glass 3/4 every time.

It’s a rip off

One of our fav breakfast haunts. Iberico Pork Benedict, Corned Beef Hash and Avocado & Eggs are our regular fav. Great coffee.

Loooovved the sourdough waffles! The mushrooms were so flavourful though it was just a side dish, toast was buttery and perfectly toasted, scrambled eggs were warm and silky Great for a catch up with a friend / chill brunch vibes.

Very disappointing 2nd visit. Salmon did not smell fresh, completely unseasoned rosti and broken hollandaise with water all over the plate from poached eggs. This was unfortunately after receiving our food 20 minutes apart and an incorrect coffee order with zero checks on the entire visit. After not eating my food, no one asked about the dish and after mentioned the issues, they didn’t even remove it from the bill. Pretty tragic really

The coffee is strong, the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I came here for breakfast and had the chia pudding with fruits. It was very good but VERY mighty and filling. I also came here for lunch and had the Fish&Chips. They were also very good and a good size.
Very nice place.

Visited the cafe on a weekend. We did not make a reservation but when we arrived it was pretty crowded! Thankfully, there were still seats available and the staff served us immediately.
There is a good variety of food options, we ordered the eggs and also fries.
The eggs tastes good and the fries are well seasoned! The overall vibe of the cafe is good as well and the staff are responsive. Overall, a great dining experience!

A must get. This is much better compared to the Buttermilk chicken at Siglap outlet. Tasty buns, sauce goes amazingly well with the tender chicken.

The mentaiko mac & cheese was the best the salmon n rosti was not bad, disliked the eggs benedict though but loved the hidden veg below the rosti friend's sourdough was really good, softer than the usual but had a good crunch to it. Pork and onions were tasty as well! Prices definitely on the higher end (total $74+) but fullness was just nice. Might try the burger next time.

Had a secluded corner near the toilet, has outdoor seating. Came on a sat afternoon, had to queue for a short while and after eating, the crowd grew. Short walk from the tanjong pagar mrt.

I have tried mushroom risotto from quite a few different places and five oars’ mushroom risotto is hands down the best! Super fragrant and generous with the portion! For desserts, I really enjoyed the crème brûlée french toast (only day menu) and the five oars waffles. Definitely a place that I will revisit time and time again

Menu was well thought out, food was executed really nicely for a cafe. The 8oz white was slightly diluted since it only had 2 shots but the peppermint mocha was pretty good. Would recommend the seafood aglio olio! The pea mash with the fish and chips was a lovely addition too.
