Eng Hock Tyres & Battery Service reviews
6Worst tyre shop n dishonest staff.went to change a tyre, end up buying a damage tyre for $90.saw Malaysian staff hid the money from the boss.try avoid this shop
Bought a set of new Michelin tyres recently. After comparing with 3 other tyres shops before choosing eng hock tyres which is the lowest price including balancing. Very efficient service. Overall a good experience.
Just changed my car battery. Quite a few brand available at reasonable price.
Not a good workshop for car to car tyre swap. Owner tried to pull a fast one by simply swapping tyres and rims when i just wanted to swap tyres. Less work for them. Shop owner claims not clear instructions but had even asked if the other car was scrapping. Common sense would suggest one of the cars rims (both stock mazda tyres, but definitely one had road rash) are old while another wasnt.
When asked if he can fixed the problem owner asked for more money! Even tried to lecture me about business and that this wasnt a vegetable shop. I would have thought owner would apologise and try to fix the problem and simply call us back to swap back the rims.
Disappointing experience.
Good service. Initially wanted to change the goodyear tyre but they don't have ready stock. End up changing Michelin, I feel that its better than my previous tyres,
In fact I would even give a start. This shop should be closed down due to its unprofessional, dishonest service provided.
Over the phone I was quoted $15.00 to change tires bought from Tyrepac. So total was meant to be $60.00. So I ordered the tires from Tyrepac and went down to fix it.
When the job was done, he showed me $90.00 charges. He refused to explain the variation and mentioned that tyrepac is the one who charged the the $90.00.
The owner even raise his voice at me when I pursue on his dishonesty over his quote on the phone. He even told me not to go to his shop if I don t like it. At one point vulgarity was also used.
Such dishonest, rude, poor attitude way of running business, we should avoid at all cost!
It is not about the $30.00, it was outright dishonesty.
