I don’t know where to start. I was wondering what guitar should I get with a limited budget. So I went to almost every music stores around bras basah, walk and walk til the last music store showed up, which is Davis.

I told this sales assistant that I only have $700 for a decent guitar. So he gladly showed me around, even let me look around their show rooms.

So, he told me to look at the PRS SE CE 24. It was love at first sight. Then he helped me try the guitar and see the different variations of sound this guitar has. Even let me tried different amps! I mean who does this nowadays for their customers. And I was overwhelmed (in a good way). The piece costs $99 more than what I’m looking for, but it was worth every penny.

This guy even helped me wipe off the guitar!

I’m glad that I chose this store for my purchase.

Good place to find beginner to high quality guitars since they have variety of choices. Staff are able to explain and guide you through as well.

I wanted to share my recent experience with my purchase of an LTD EC-256 guitar from your store. While I don't typically write reviews, I believe this feedback is essential.

I was recommended the LTD EC-256 over the PRS SE Custom 24 by your team due to concerns about the latter's tremolo system. I appreciated the initial sales service, which was quite satisfactory, and I decided to make the purchase.

However, a few weeks later, I began to encounter issues with the guitar. There was an irritating buzz on the strings, prompting me to return for service. To my surprise, I was told that I needed to replace the strings as they were considered old, even though I had purchased the guitar just three months prior.

During the service visit, I also had to address loose plugs and a tuning peg issue. While these problems were resolved, there was still a slight buzzing after the string change. When I attempted to point this out, the technician appeared irritated and made an unprofessional comment about attending to a celebrity.

Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the frets on the guitar were not level, and it became apparent that the guitar was older than I had been led to believe. I have attached pictures for reference.

In summary, my experience with my LTD EC-256 purchase from Davis Guitar has been mixed. I appreciate the initial sales service and the resolution of some of the issues. However, I am disappointed with the guitar's age and condition and the lack of transparency regarding the need for frequent string changes.

I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers at Davis Guitar.

Amazing experience when I'm buying my first guitar here. There's a guy called Jerry, he was especially friendly, helpful and patient, giving me the best advice to decide on the guitar that suits me best. Very very happy with my purchase and will definitely come back if I need anything else!

After some research, I zeroed onto the Bacchus brand and got in touch with Davis Guitar Music Centre, Singapore who are certified dealers for the aforementioned brand. Believe me folks, DGMC offers the best service. I live in India and in the course of the past few days have been at the receiving end of clear and excellent communication via email about my requirement. I mean, c'mon I'm just one of many clients but DGMC with their great service made me feel like the most important one. A shout out to Janet of DGMC who kept me updated every step of the way, from the arrival of their consignment (Bacchus guitars) to my specific requirement, set-up and delivery. The dealer-client experience is superlative and I can't wait to have my guitar which is being brought to me by my wife who is in Singapore for a few days.
Davis Guitar, Singapore has certainly left me highly impressed and I recommend anyone who is looking for a fine instrument to consider getting theirs from Davis Guitar Music Centre.

It was an absolute pleasure purchasing a guitar at Davis Guitar. I was traveling to Singapore and wanted to have a guitar to practice at night in my hotel. I contacted Davis Guitar and they were knowledgeable, had exactly what I needed and extremely courteous. The guitar was delivered to my hotel in perfect working order. I highly recommend Davis Guitar!

Just bought a guitar, Takamine (GN20NS). Actually I have never used it before and just planned to have a look. But the sales assistant, named Mr. Ram demonstrated this guitar and finally I grabbed it because of him. He is a nice guitarist as well as a good promotor.

The service experience was slightly less than expectations. I came to restring my guitar and also ended up replacing my guitar bag. The service staff was not rude but wasn’t as friendly as others. I came back when the guitar was done, and noted how there was still some dust/dirt on the fret board.

Please correct me if I’m wrong to expect basic touching up when I paid for a guitar service fee to restring it. I was about to ask the staff about the costs if I were to send in my other guitar for servicing. Before I could say my question, he immediately cut me off to gesture for me to throw the old guitar bag outside.

All in all, I wouldn’t say that people should visit Davis guitar because of 1 staff. But we would have to manage our expectations as (at least based on today’s experience) it’s very much transactional. At least the service was rather fast and still acceptable.

Went there to get my action fixed for my bass and the staff were friendly and they got it done quick! Thank you so much!

Have been going to Davis since years ago and today sure was an experience getting served by him. Wait, no. I didn’t get served. I got told to leave because there are other customers that want to buy guitars. Ain’t I one of ‘em too?: ’ (Is it because I don’t fit your visual expectations of a buying customer?

Anyway, tell them you’re buying before trying if you want decent customer service because I did not. Great gears and was my favourite shop there but not anymore:/

Friendly, helpful staff. Got the Orange Crush 20 from them. Very good value little fella; 20 amps is way loud enough for home practice.

Did basic service and repair on a guitar bought from them previously. Quick and accurate diagnosis. Happy with the job done.

Wide range of variety. Some staff are friendly and happy to assist you, bought my classical here. However, just like most other guitar stores, there might be some staff who just talk and act like as$holes. When I was looking for electric guitar about 1 year ago, the first guitar store I visited was this one, and there was this one guy who seemed to be friendly at first, answered some of my questions about guitars patiently and after just a few minutes suddenly asked me are you just looking? Ok so I answered yes because I was just looking to compare the guitars on that day, not making final decision. Funny, then he just walked away. Of course I'm not buying a guitar at the very first visit without comparing. I thought 1 simple logic is that not everyone is that rich to buy an relatively expensive thing without consideration. As a student who looked young and without much money I felt very disrespected (btw when I bought the classical my father was with me so that might be the reason why they were respecting me at another time, I doubt the staff here having discrimination against non 18). I was really looking to buy a guitar and this is the kind of attitude you are throwing me. This is why in the end I bought my electric at one of the Swee Lee branch (star vista as the staff there were the only people respected me among all the guitar stores I visited, even though I was not an adult.

My good mate and I are from Australia and bought guitars from Davis in Singapore ónline. We both dealt with Janet who was incredibly helpful and professional. Wanted to fix my guitar on the spot but was rudely chase out by the uncle at the cashier without any explanation. Was talked down too when I was trying to find the classical string suitable for my guitar. Won’t come back here again.

Super friendly and helpful staffs! Bought a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails which turned out to be faulty (very unfortunate). But the staffs were very helpful in aiding me with the warranty process and received a brand new pickup within 24 hours.
