46 Service with a smile + even promoting extra items to goes with it. You will b given a buzzer for notifying that your order is prepare to b collect.
This is a self service area but fast on your order n all the dishes r so CHEAP.
Delicious!
The orders r cook on the spot.
I will always buy takeaway.
Thank you?
Been awhile since I visited the place, realise that they charge a ridiculous amount of 60c for takeaway! And it’s 60c for each item. If you order a main and a soup, it’s $1.20 in total for takeaway costs! How is the takeaway container for soup the same price as takeaway box for my mains? Ridiculous pricing in the name of “eco-friendly”
Review update: I thought the takeaway prices were ridiculous enough, to top it off, there was an insect on the lettuce! The black pepper sauce was bland and oily. Will never be back again.
Food portion was pretty big. Although the queue was long, it took around 35-40 mins from order to food on the table. Food taste nice too.
While the chicken cutlet was a bit too flat and contained a bit too little meat to be satisfying, it was well seasoned, even under the crispy exterior.
The fries were also tasty and crispy.
The coleslaw was cold, crisp, and pretty creamy.
It was overall pretty good, although the price is a tad high.
Had dinner here last Sunday. The food delicious. Soup is tasty. As a Burpple app subscriber, I enjoyed 1 for 1 promo for the food and mushroom soup, which is a good deal. Will come back again next time.
Date of review: 5 Jul 2022.
Ordered fish and chips and bolognaise. Ordinary. Used to be able to choose your own sides, but not anymore. That was the unique selling point. Now its higher price point western food at coffeeshop with large portions. So won't be patronizing anymore.
Located in coffee shop almost beside 216 market & food centre.
Food quality:
Can’t give a higher rating as the QC isn’t consistent, sometimes meat is tender, other times less so, sometimes fries are crispy and warm, other times cold and soft.
Food portion / Price:
Portions seem bigger than average Western store.
Tried the 50% off food delivery for Fried Norwegian Salmon & Tempura Squid and Grilled Chicken Chop & Lamb Chop set at $15 and $16 respectively, which came with mushroom soup packed separately.
Crowd: Always expect a crowd especially during meal times.
Food delivery: Available on GrabFood, FoodPanda.
Unexpectedly delicious with huge servings. I got the a very flavorful pasta with chicken and the hubby got the chicken chop, huge plate with excellent seasoning. Oh, and the fries! So crispy and light! I can’t think of better fries I’ve had recently. This will definitely be one of my hangouts now. It’s a must try for sure
First time ordering from this outlet. I ordered through foodpanda the chicken chop + rib set and fish + squid calamari set and had an awesome lunch! Everything was well cooked and tasty. Definitely recommended!
I tried to place an order again but foodpanda app showed it’s closed though it’s still within the operating hours. Anyone can advise is it of a certain timing orders can be made via foodpanda?
Excellent western food, consistently tasty. Highlights for me are the sausages and chicken chop with delicious (altho spicy) spaghetti.
Very disappointed with the food. The PB4 chic aglio has no chicken. I will NEVER patronise anymore. Take a good look at their menu & what’s given.
Wanted to try the food but changed my mind, I thought it a bit pricey seeing how it's in a coffeeshop and it's self service.
The female front staff was rude. My order was left lying there for 20mins and she didn’t bother to check my order after I have asked her a few times. Poor service n food is so so. First and last time ordering
Last time can choose what u want as ur side now u cant choose the sauce and the sides their food is not good too pls dont spend ur money here go to bedok mall easily can find something nicer and higher qualitt than this!
Just a normal western food outlet within a coffee shop. Price is reasonable and food quality acceptable and note it's self serving
I went at 7.30pm last Sunday, waiting time is not long, look nice, just a small disappointment as the food served was cold. With this price I expect to have better standard than food court one.
I ordered this though grab food though this outlet. The standard has dropped so bad. This was a fish cutlet and chicken chop combo for $16. If you are paying $16 you would expect better standards.
We had soggy fish and a super tough piece of chicken chop. Maybe it’s the delivery period but maybe it’s the busy season but one thing for sure these two combinations do not go together.
The moisture from the chicken chop softens the breaded fish so you get one lump of mess.
The Paya Lebar outlet is better if you need to eat Colin’s but personally I won’t pay for this again
The standard has drop so much since last visit.
Also, after their menu revamp, they lost their uniqueness of "Create your own" - now everyhing is set and no more mixing and matching.
The meat is dry. The Aglio Olio is dry. The Sweetcorn is not sweet. Vastly disappointed.
Edit: Mushroom Soup wasn't hot either.
I Ordered Assorted Grill from Common Grill earlier. When it arrived, I was shocked and disappointed that the lamb was not even the size of the spoon. I've ordered this before and the portion of lamb is usually quite reasonable.
The standard dropped so much. The vegetables was so dry. The coleslaw was too sweet and it did not taste like coleslaw at all. Pork chop had not marinated well. If you need to change the side dishes, additional top up is required. I still prefer the old ordering method, by ticking and choose the sides you like. Unlikely will come again if the mix and match is not possible.
