Was expecting a lot but food was not something I want to travel for. Service was ok ok. The place looks rustic and that is about it.

Cleaning staff could be more proactive instead of standing around looking at customers struggling to find the tray return station (which is located outside the eatery). The branch at Jalan Besar has a much nicer ambience.

Well the food is good but the price is at the higher end for a cafe. Base on the price for a nasi Padang style is on the higher end but still worth the taste

No option for cashless payment and no ATM nearby, troublesome. We had to order through Grabfood and self collect.

Good taste of food with plenty choice to choose from. Seating area is adequate, but it can get crowded on weekends. Plenty parking space. Baby chair is available. No aircon but good air circulation with a lot of fans.

The only downside: payment is cash only. No paynow or card payment is available.

I suddenly had craving for malay food and drove all the way here. Was alone so just had rice, meat and vege. Next time will try the nasi ambeng. 1 of the walls is quite instagrammable

Coba coba is our family’s go to place for nasi ambeng. Always good, with consistent quality in the food and portions. Totally recommend!

Authentic tasting Nasi padang. Abit on the pricey side considering location in Yishun.
The order in the pic was $10.50.

Authentic, yummylicious & warm food
Oh the cooked rice is not lumpy like some stalls & also served warmth like their food.
Traditional malay goreng pisang & lopes with gula melaka also available.

Came all the way to Chongpang Area from Yishun to try this out. Not really impressive but decently fine.

Bad, was served a cold nasi ambeng set, whereby the beef rendang served was really cold, and a few things were sold out, not worth the price

The location is convenient, it is walking distance from Yishun mrt station. I like their food for having homey kind of taste. Ordered their classic Nasi Ampeng and i love their beef rendang! Would love to come back to try other dishes.

Variety was ok, taste ok too but portion and pricing is a little expensive for a neighbourhood eatery.

The price and the amount of food provided were pathetic. Vegetables and sambal goreng were very little.

Authentic Malay food. Reasonable price. Must come. Nasi Ambeng is really good. They also do catering. Friendly faces.

We came here for lunch on weekday. Pretty crowded. Glad that we came at 1pm so customers were leaving. I had the Tahu Telur for $6. Rice is at $1 which is too much for me. I didn't ask if they have a smaller portion pricing. My friend had nasi padang. Not disappointed. Will come back again for breakfast items.

Actually. Its just like any other nasi padang. Is nice really. But. Alot of place also nice. Its just the Concept and marketing strategy is good. In the heartlands. Nonetheless is a good place to have a meal. With reasonable prices.

Though a lot of variety of dishes but prices are exorbitant. Like 5 bux for a piece of fried fish, those scad kind of fish.

Coba Coba has a nice variety of food for breakfast. Saw the recommendation from Food King and decided to try this place. It's Nasi padang is definitely a "Must Try" - especially love the chicken with green chili. It wasn't that spicy yet fragrant and tantalising. Mee Rebus had a strong seafood, prawn sweetness. My parents thought that the rice in the Lontong was a little too hard but it was just nice for me. I loved the Sardine puff too, though a little spicy - but full of it with thin crust.

Only thing i would have hoped is that the food could be served hot - that will definitely be a plus point.

You can give it to them for the taste but customer service and price? A joke! The serving is pathetic, the lady scoops food onto your plate without asking first. Price? They charge us so much more than the price indicated on the board.
