Staff at reception weren't very friendly, interested to help, or welcoming at all given we were there the first time (late and a bit lost) for our son's paid trial class. One of the seated ladies simply stared down at us while we asked questions to another. We were expecting a different teacher as they told us we would get, but this wasn't communicated to us until we went to the class and asked about it afterwards. Honestly, I can't say I like the overall vibe of the place.

We found Centre Stage looking for a school holiday drama camp. My 11 year old daughter had the best time and wanted more. We were delighted to discover that Centre Stage was casting for a Christmas pantomime. Participating in the pantomime and going to rehearsals has been a highlight and brought my child so much joy. As a parent I am so appreciative and grateful to the staff at Centre Stage for giving our kids this incredible opportunity. The Centre Stage team is dedicated, caring and talented. Our children are so lucky to have access to great leadership and the very special experience of being in a professional show. Which is to be performed at the Victoria Theatre. If your little person is passionate about acting/singing/dancing the Centre Stage family will see them shine!

Before Covid I had the pleasure of collaborating with Centre Stage in my position as Head of Drama and Director of the Acting Course at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Herts, UK. What a fantastic experience that was working with the professional, dedicated team at Centre Stage run so superbly by Pete and Alison. The nurturing, supportive and hugely creative enviroment that they create enables young people to flourish and grow and deepen their love of the performing arts. Now, post-Covid, that the world has returned to normal I am very much hoping we can organise another exchange again.

My children have been at Centre Stage since they were 3 and 6 years old, and it has always been their happy place. Over the years, they have tried all the courses under the sun, drama, musical theatre, hip hop, Ballet…and they loved them all. They are much older now and have become more focused as to what they like. All these years, the amazing staff at Center Stage was there for them, encouraging them to explore and helping them grow. I have never had a bad experience at this school and can only recommend it. The teachers encourage the kids to dream and to be daring and free. At the same time, through their numerous class productions, the kids have learned to be team players, to wait their turn and that they can’t always play first fiddle. The school’s owners are a wonderful couple who always find the time to have a quick chat about your child if you have any questions or concerns. And amazingly they seem to actually know every child too, still not sure how they do that. Anyway, to wrap up, this place is wonderful. Don’t hesitate to send your kids there, they will be in the best hands.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself at the Attic Session Christmas Jolly Singers held at Centre Stage. She made so many friends and had a good time at every practise session culminating in a spectacular performance in a cozy setting. Thanks for bringing the Christmas vibe!

My 6-year-old son has been attending drama classes at Centre Stage for nearly 2 years now, and it has been a wonderful experience for him. As a naturally shy child, we enrolled him in drama to encourage self-expression, and it has exceeded our expectations. He has grown more confident, taking the lead among his peers and finding his voice.

I highly recommend Centre Stage for their commitment to children's development in an enjoyable and engaging manner. The staff has been incredibly helpful, always ready to address my queries and connect me with the instructors when needed. It's a fantastic place for young ones to explore their creativity and flourish

My daughter goes to the East branch under teacher Vicky. She has been with her for the last 3years and it has been truly wonderful. Teacher Vicky cultivates a nurturing and positive learning environment for students to solidify their passion for drama. My daughter looks forward to every session with her!

My son has been with CC drama at Main Center since reception. We do notice significant improvement in his speech and confidence after attending the classes. His favourite teacher is Mr Aaron!

My girls have been attending Centrestage for a few years and they look forward to class each week - the teachers are engaging and so much fun, providing them with new content and pushing their boundaries to express themselves more through music and movement. They recently took part in the Lights Camera Action show which was incredible. Kudos to the team, particularly Molly & Liisa who tirelessly worked with the children on the rehearsals, costumes and made them feel like real stars! An unforgettable experience

I run the Diploma in Performance at LASALLE College of the Arts and for over 15 years we have been accepting candidates from Centre Stage. They are well equipped with craft, contextual knowledge and a sound work ethic to be able to flourish here at LASALLE and beyond. Peter and Alison are both actors and educators. Their skills and knowledge of performance training and the industry are informed by extensive first-hand experience. They coach and advise their students with passion and a commitment to their success. A first rate Acting and Musical Theatre school.

Good teachers but quite inflexible with parent’s reasonable requests by school management team, esp when it comes to fees, deposits and payments. Feel like it’s more a business than school per se. My girl joined for a term for trial, class was decent but limited classroom sizes and facilities given in a colonial house set up. Communication and feedback were not proactively provided too after term for each child.

My boys aged 9 and 12 thoroughly enjoyed the holiday camps recently. The teachers were so full of energy and allowed them to explore their creativity through drama and music! The boys had so much fun and it’s ignited their passion for the performing arts, especially for my 9 year old! Am sending them to the regular classes next!
