I have sent my car SDT9899L for servicing and pre LTA Vicom Inspection check up on 11th April 2023. The service provided by Pandan Loop Service Center is outstanding and professional. Their Customer Advisor Kenny is very patient and carefully explain and highlight the various repairs and inspection requirements that the Service Center will be performing and also the time involved in the entire process. He also recommend me to take up some of the offers available to me so as to reduce the overall costs for the maintenance and servicing.
The workmanship provided is also exceptional and my LTA inspection passed effortlessly the first time.
I am also very comfortable at the Service Centre as their have provided us with barista styled coffee and snacks. The overall friendly environment is also very pleasant as I really looked forward to my next servicing.

虽然这里的价格比其它地方稍微高了一些,但是明码标价,不像有些无良修车商一样胡弄车主,故意说某些零件坏了,利用一些有瑕疵的零件把你原来完好的零件换掉,甚至把你的车弄出一些故障,让你重复回去做一些原本不需要的维修。藉此奉劝其它车主,维修您的车子必须先查清楚该修车商的信用,以免掉入这些无良修车商的陷阱。

POOR MANAGEMENT
I came around 2pm, got a queue number, 315pm, then I was attended.
Others waiting time was 30mins. The receptionist passed my case to someone who was not at his desk, while everyone else was attended by the agents at their desk. No one bothered whether your number is up or why it was not called, everyone was busy at their own work.

Overall is satisfactory and Customer Service Agent is very diligent and responsive on the issue with the radio noise despite having being mute all times. She is also knowledgeable and provides professional plus appropriate service for my vehicle which is about 5 years ago.

The ambience at Cycle & Carriage Pandan Loop Service Center for Mercedes Benz Service is considered top notch after having service my cars at here for the past 16 over years.

Keep up the good works and services.

What makes a good company great.

The true greatness of a company cannot be measured when things are doing well - it can only be measured when things goes wrong.

For me, things went so wrong and this is where Cycle and Carriage differentiated themselves and showed that it is one of the great companies in Singapore.

Background Story: Almost a year ago, I receive my brand new car manufactured by Mercedes-Benz factory in Kecskemet Hungary after a long 6 months wait.

Like any new car owner, I am very excited to receive my shinny new ride - however I soon realised that I may have received a lemon from the factory.

In the first 6 months that I have my car, it has been with Cycle and Carriage Pandan Loop almost every other month for different sets of issues. It is unfortunate, it is troublesome, it is painful - however, thanks to Cycle and Carriage Pandan Loop, they have made every possible effort to correct all the issues that I had in my car and made it as easy and trouble free for me as much as they can.

After a few months, I have finally come to a conclusion that confirmed with a chop - I have received a lemon from the factory. I then wrote an email to CNC customer service and their management team was quick pick up on it - they took my car and perform a thorough inspection to fix what needs to be fix and to replace parts that needs to be replaced.

In low margin, mass produced car, there will always be a small percentage of production error that is bound to happen… I unfortunately received one but thankfully, I ordered my car from an authorised distributor, CNC… I can only imagine the amount of headache and the amount of money I need to spend if I go with a parallel importer instead.

Lastly, the WOW moment for me was when
one of their staff, Shahrail apologised to me for all the issues that I have been having. I told him it’s not his fault and that the issues I’m having was all the way back from the factory - however, without hesitation, he replied, “we all represent the company, and it’s all our responsibility…” WOW… just… WOW…. This shows that CNC Pandan Loop that they have that culture of ownership baked deep within the organisation.

Finally now all my issues have been settled, and hopefully no more new issue will come up.

To Mr. Chris Brown, Ms. Wendy Heng, Mr. Mohammad, Ms. Joanne Kho, Mr. Shahrail, all the engineers and technicians, and to all the wonderful folks at CNC Pandan Loop, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for everything.

Pandan Loop:
1. The Receptionist are really friendly & helpful.
2. Past experiences with their car wash were really³ lousy. Never respect their vocation as Car grooming / washing profession nor respect client's car. Wash like never wash, sometimes even can scratch our car.
3. Presently under COVID situation, no refreshments or beverages are available at all.

As usual excellent service, nice breakfast and coffee. Shuttle serivce to the nearest mrt. Massage chairs available, chillax.payment can be quite horrific, my advice is pay n go. Services mentioned above are included in the bill.
Check invoice details can be blood boiling.

Terrible support on service center call line. The line connected after 15mins of holding, they claim they start at 8.30am but practically nobodoy picks their call line until 9 or 915am, and finally the lady who picked up, she took all my details, and said will give me and appointment but I didnt receive any further msg

In a nutshell what to expect at the Pandan Loop branch.

A nice Mercedes Benz service centre. Place is comfortable with a quiet resting area. There is a small cafeteria where complimentary drinks and snacks are served. At the MB shop, I reckon that the lifestyle accessories were sold at ridiculous prices. Located within an industrial estate, MB offers free shuttle service to Clementi MRT until 1045am.

My appointment was at 0900. I arrived just before the appointed time but took a while to complete Safety Management Measures with the receptionist. I finally received the queue number at 0901.

However, I had to wait until 0928 before I was served by a customer service executive. He appeared to be the only person handling customers, despite the presence of several other similarly attired personnel in the office (chatting, on the phone, milling about).

The delay was apparently due to a walk-in customer, even though C&C staff had previously informed and the official website clearly stated "by appointment only".

Although the customer service executive apologized for the delay, it was not a sign of good management practices, if it did not adhere to its policies.

Waiting area had a TV, no beverages (unlike their showrooms and most service centers) and WiFi that "did not work"; the password pasted on the wall appeared to be incorrect.

If I had a choice, I doubt I would return.
