Overall friendly and nice community.
Location very convenient and large studio which sometimes more space to dance than other studios like the one at orchard.

Bad part the artistic director is bad at explain the techniques and and he do not appear to understand the songs he dance to. I hear that he from France so I doesn't understand why he pretend to know the dance culture.

For salsa I think the one at City Hall is better and bachata the one at Bugis should be better with more qualified teachers.

Dance and social are not something I will look out for in normal settings. But in my quest to help some friends, whose common interest are in dancing, broaden their ‘social’ life, I researched many schools and found Caliente.

Just first dance and it has intrigued my interest in dancing, it’s more than just learning the moves, they have plenty of other subtleties of life skills built in to boost our confidence in interacting socially. And of course once the music is on, the class is always the best hour in the week for me.

Very good place to start your latin dance journey.the classes are flexible and allow you to start at any time.they have first class offer which let you try all their dance style and level without commitment before signing up for a package

Caliente is amazing! I started from the scratch, without any dancing experience, and it’s been 2.5 years since I took the first class as a beginner and this place is almost like a home to me. Instructors are so friendly and encouraging and the classes are fun, there’s a bar inside the studio which I cannot find in the other dance studios in Singapore. Caliente also organises performance projects and travels to perform in Latin dance event overseas, which I got to be a part of. Highly recommend it for basic and advanced salsa/bachata learners.

I got to reconnect with salsa after 4 years because of Caliente and I am so grateful! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The instructors are kind and attentive. I am especially fond of Janey and Robin. Janey noticed that I had done salsa before and offered to bump me up to the Level 2 classes to make sure I don’t get bored at the beginner classes. I thought that was extremely kind. They have a flexible credit system and most importantly, so many classes to choose from (timing and dance styles!). Highly recommend Caliente!

The owners of the studio feels that they are doing everyone favour! A lot of the dancers there are their own people just so that it looks like a packed place! They mingle with themselves and people from outside are normally left alone! I have tried other dance studios which are much better and genuine place.

I had the incredible fortune to spend a recent Saturday night atDance Studio in Singapore, and I can't overstate how amazing the experience was!

The quality and variety of the music played throughout the night catered perfectly to both Latin dance enthusiasts like myself and newcomers to the scene, making everyone feel welcomed and eager to hit the dance floor.

Speaking of the dance floor, the crowd at Caliente was nothing short of impressive. There was a delightful mix of skilled Latin dancers and those just there to enjoy the vibe, making it an inclusive and diverse space that welcomes everyone, no matter their dance experience.

One of the standout features of the night was the intriguing blend of locals and foreigners, a wonderful reflection of Singapore's multicultural fabric. This added an international flair to the experience that made the night all the more exciting. Meeting people from various backgrounds was fascinating and just added to the overall exhilaration of the night.

A good place to start out as an absolute beginner! Has a spacious studio that has best AC system a pleasant social night experience ;)

A very fun and social experience. Instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Studio is pretty big and spacious, good for multiple classes and socials. Seems like there's something happening. It always feels like a fiesta everyday!

Great place to learn latin dance - amazing instructors, nice studio, and a wonderful vibe! Perfect for dancers/non-dancers of all background - I had zero dance experience prior to this. I thoroughly enjoyed the salsa & bachata classes I've been to so far - kudos to the team!

The man manning counter has bad customer service. Always stern and unfriendly during queries, as if I owe him something? Doesnt give clear communications too. Classes are okay, instructors are quite fun, just very distasteful and unprofessional counter service when there are queries that leaves a really negative impression =/

Recommended to those who are interested to pick up social dance skills from the basics. The studio instructors are experienced and friendly which make the class very enjoyable. Thanks guys! Drinks lover, a new drinking bar counter has now been set up too.
