Brunches Cafe reviews
78The food always tastes great and the ambience and service are very satisfying. A great place to hang out!
Very good place for breakfast, brunch, high-tea and dinner! Dropped by without making reservations and waited for more than 45mins. So do make reservations if planning to head down!
A special vibe cafe with lots of decos and displays! Staff are friendly and the boss is very very friendly and welcoming! He makes everyone in the house feels like we are all friends! Quite ample parallel parking lots available on both sides along the road if not busy timings.
As for the food, 'standard' pricings and not too pricey. What we ordered were very nice esp the karaage which made us ordered another serving! The beef burger which we ordered was also nice. The pancakes were nice with many fruits toppings which is good for sharing with kids! We also took the boss's recommendation and ordered the molten lava cake.you'll not regret for it!
Fantastic ambiance! The cafe’s cozy decor immediately sets a welcoming tone. Its relaxed atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for catching up with friends or simply enjoying a moment of tranquility!
1st experience for myself and our primary school group at Brunches Cafe was very rewarding. Thumbs up from our kakis. We were celebrating our 9th Réunion dinner last night. You get nice food, excellent ambience and warm service at Brunches Cafe, kudos to all serving us. The Halloween Theme party has added alot of funs. And enjoyed the numbers from Gilbert, the guitarist. We will be back and do recommend this venue to our friends.
Lovely cafe with warm, charming staff and tasty food (huge portions too)! The cafe also has been wonderfully decorated.
The food were delicious and the services were excellent. Most of all, the atmosphere is conducive. I really enjoyed my time in the cafe.
Good vibe & good food. Pretty extensive menu for a cafe, makes you wanna come back for more. Usually not a fan of Tomato Based Pasta but the Frutti de mare was probably one of the best TBP I had. The Slow-cooked pork belly was excellent as well but somehow I felt the 3 layer texture of the meat goes better with rice rather than mashed potatoes, which probably explains why Pot Roast (a stew meat that pairs with cut or mashed potatoes) mostly uses just pork loin instead.
Nice food and very friendly staff, l had to find a proper seat due to my recent back injury and the staff were very helpful. Food is nice id recommend their aglio olio!
I just wanted to drop a quick note to express my appreciation for the wonderful service I received at Brunches Cafe. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient. The delicious food combined with the exceptional service made my dining experience truly memorable. Thank you for providing such a delightful atmosphere and outstanding service.
Atmosphere is good. Love the design and decol of the place. Lots of retro collection on display. Food is yums and services good. Definitely return.
This is a great establishment to have a meal, coffee or tea or even have a light refreshment of having the high tea set. It’s very filling if you don’t want to have a full meal but it sure is delicious and delightful. You can have a choice of tea which is refillable. The sliders were great just that the chicken could be juicier. The spring rolls was a normal spring roll unsurprisingly. The sweets of the chocolate, mango, carrot cake and tart is to die for. Except for the scones which is a little dry. Overall, it’s a good experience with its rustic aesthetics and high tea set. But do always try and get the truffle fries whenever you’re here, for a meal or coffee, just get it (the best truffle fries I ever had).
Love the food here and really cook with love and passion and can be seen in the food served. Worth coming here to have a lovely dinner here and chill
My first time to Bruches cafe. I’m literally soak myself into its atmospheres and the 80’s songs. The food, very delicious and the price, very affordable. It’s one of my highly recommended place.
My first visit was with my agency colleagues about 1.5 years ago. This time, my friend who is a regular here, suggested to catch up here together with another friend.
The food quality and taste were great. (missed out the photo for mushroom fritters). We enjoyed them thoroughly.
Anne is very friendly and attentive, made us feel very welcome. The decorations are very unique. We love the ambience and the whole experience.
Heard that there are live music on weekends. Will check it out again.
I like the interesting decors and excellent service by their staff. The food is very nice and the price very reasonable. My next visit on Fridays will be for their live band!
The place was so good and the staff was very friendly. Ms. Fang fang treated us as if she knew us since so long. I genuinely had the best time while I was there. Thank you guys.
Definitely more than 5-star. Went there for high tea; Super nice ambience, yummy food, good service, without burning a hole in your pocket. Love the staff name Fang Fang and the boss, so jovial and welcoming.
Service - the boss and waitresses were really friendly, we were initially seated at a normal table but wanted to move to the retro car table instead and they gladly let us!:)
discount (NTU student) - glad to have gotten a 10-15% discount being an NTU student woohoo? (10% for our soup & mains, 15% for our takeaway cake)
lobster bisque - i could really taste the lobster in this, so i know it’s not some frozen soup that was heated up.i liked it but it’s abit pricey, though understandable since real lobsters are used
fruitti di mare - i didn’t really try much of it but it’s a tomato based pasta (which i really like)
fiery aglio olio - i can’t take spicy so i asked for less spicy and it was tolerable for me.i really liked the smoked duck though my boyfriend said it looked like the frozen kind?
Foods are well serve. Do remember to do make reservation before heading down.
I was lucky as walk in.
The decor is outstanding and so was the service. I thought the food was quite good, comparable to most hipster cafes, but nothing really outstanding.
