Bad recovery service to the point of snobbish. Slow to respond and off putting with replies. Hard to settle anything. Make sure you read through every single detail with caution before you book a class.because nothing can be done after. Basically zero customer service. Little to no response right now post agreement and it was hard to even get to an agreement at all in the first place. Disappointing experience

Breathe Dance is the best. Instructor Penny was funny, cute and yet very clear in her instructions. The choreo sequence is easy to learn and the music was catchy. I found myself looking forward to the lesson every week cos its a good way to destress and tone muscles at the same time!

Never too old to learn Pole! Started my pole journey in my 40s, 1 year plus ago with Breathe. Great community. Love my super wonderful teacher Teresa Chen who journeyed so patiently with me though I take much longer than others to learn. Great workout too! Highly recommended

Started pole for the first time at Breathe over a year ago and never looked back - the teachers are wonderfully inclusive, supportive and uplifting. All shapes, sizes and fitness levels are welcome and the environment is always friendly and fun - and pole as an exercise is basically a full body calisthenics workout.

They also cater to many different genres, I learnt a lot about various dance techniques here that inspired me to go further into performance theatre.

A year ago, I tried out a few pole studios and immediately signed up after a trial class at Breathe. You know that the instructors are truly something else when even the warm ups are so well thought-out and detailed. A year later I'm still loving it for the following reasons:

- Great studio layout and "access" to mirror so that you can see the instructor and yourself
- Bright and clean
- Detail-oriented, focus on lines and beauty in execution (from entry into a pole trick to exit)
- Focus on safety
- Every lesson is well thought-out and planned (no fillers, each warm up is purposeful towards the specific pole tricks or choreo)
- Strong foundation and habits that will stay with you for life
- Awesome choreos bar none. Especially love the creative music choices

I’ve been poling exclusively with Breathe Dance Co.since 2021 and it’s been a thoroughly engaging and fulfilling experience. The instructresses at Breathe are incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and care greatly for the safety of their students. It’s heartwarming and awe-inspiring to see masters of their craft dedicated to passing on their infectious love for pole to others.

Beyond that, I’m grateful to have met so many extraordinary and empowering people over the course of my pole journey with Breathe. Having started alone, I’m thankful to have found a community of strong and inspirational humans to surround myself with.

I’ve been poling at breathe for over a year now and starting here was one of the best choices I’ve ever made! The instructors are all amazing dancers, superb teachers and just super lovely and down to earth people. I also love that the studio is such a judgment-free and inclusive environment. I’d highly recommend breathe to anyone who wants to try pole dancing!

Breathe is like a breath of fresh air, disrupting the local arts scene. I wouldn’t even say pole scene, because they have so much to offer including ballet, hammock, stretch etc.they offer an art, a home for likeminded individuals to share the art together.i learnt about Breathe in my pre-pregnancy days in 2020. The dynamic four founders with amazing background each with different strengths, and they made it personal and warm with students - that to me is the unique edge about Breathe - the ability to have a real connection with students. It translates not just from the founders, but right to the amazing team of quality instructors and supportive students. Breathe’s reputation precedes them. Having studio hopped previously (pre pregnancy), I only was able to take three term classes with breathe (2 pole flow and 1 double term) - I was taught by Tania and Saddy, before I found out I was pregnant. And breathe was indeed unique, the only one of its kind.

When I was pregnant, there was no further questions asked / any hesitations when I appealed my case for a refund as I was certified by my doctor for a long term bed rest. I love that the studio owners had empathy for soon-mom-to-be like me then. It was very comforting, and I remember them for that.

I took awhile to return to pole, it took me two years. This round, Breathe has changed location - the new location worked for me and my new family as it’s strategically located in the heart of CBD and my husband cld bring my baby for nearby classes while I enjoy a relaxing much needed session at pole. And the distinctive quality of team of instructors remains consistent, if not even better. The same instructors who taught me are still around!

Breathe’s superb quality is an exemplary studio for the industry, it was even better than what I remembered in 2020. Returning to pole in 2022, I started with drop-in classes with Tania, then I remembered asking Tania if Lyrical 2 will ever be added back into the programme. To my surprise, she considered my feedback! When I learnt that a choreo 2 will be reinstated, I signed up in a heart even without a choreography preview (that’s how highly I regard the studio). True enough, the amazing choreography by Penny supersede expectations - it was so good - the emotive moves matches the lyrics and song perfectly. It wasn’t just a movement anymore, it’s a pure art piece.

I love that Breathe listens. Listens to feedback, when I shared that a booking link was faulty, I received a prompt response from Vivienne that it wld be rectified, after it was corrected she follows up again. Whenever I’m in doubt on class schedule / pole level etc, as long as I pm or email, there will always be someone to respond promptly - as a result I was able to attend to all my desired classes.

With Breathe, people (students / instructors) stay and stay happily. It’s a non-competitive, inclusive, supportive and uplifting environment that the founders has successfully created.

Two years later, and many studio hopping previously, I’m glad I found my happy place.

Went here for my friend's bachelorette activity and signed up for the private session for 3 participants. Teresa was our instructor and she was such an amazing teacher. She made the whole experience really fun, made us not feel awkward and created a great choreography based on the song we chose. The studio was so spacious and clean with excellent privacy. I highly recommend trying out this place.

The only feedback I have is that when making appointment via email, I wish that I know who is the person I'm talking to. The email exchange is just signed as the company name, which made it hard for me to address the person.

BDC isn't just a pole/dance studio, it's a place where you'll find community. The instructors are meticulous, professional and always put safety first.

I took a trial beginner's class at breathedanceco in May 2019 and have not stop coming back since! All of the teachers at Breathe are not just passionate about teaching and watching you grow as a dancer, but they're also creative, unique, fun and genuinely great people. The safe and welcoming environment that the Breathe crew has created is truly second to none. Coming to this humble studio every week has given me so much joy. Want to fulfil your little childhood dream as a dancer you must join Breathe Dance Co Big Family. Started my journey in my late 30’s which is never too late to rediscover the joy of childhood happiness. Instructors are jovial, patience, encouraging, passionate and many many more good praises! Not forgetting the community, the dancing-hood is so supportive and I have make good friends who pole together even though we are of different level/grades. My truly happy place!

The teachers in BDC are amazing and inspiring. I feel I have progressed a lot more than I had in the previous school. The teachers are always concern about the students safety which is great for students like me who is not very confident on pole. The teachers may push you a bit but that is because they know you can do better and want you to do better! Totally appreciate it! You will always be amazed by what you have achieve by end of the term. Fellow classmates are always encouraging when you try out a new trick. A great place to go for classes!

I love and enjoy my pole journey at Breathe Dance Co. I have improved a lot under the guidance of Professor X Huishi 老师. She is very patient and encouraging throughout my pole journey. Breathe Dance Co.helps students to build strong fundamentals in dancing and pole tricks. After which, all these fundamentals can be demonstrated via their pretty choreography. Pole Dancing in Breathe Dance Co.makes me happy.

I’m sooo glad to have found Breathe! Awesome studio with a good mix of techniques and choreography classes. The instructors are amazing, supportive, encouraging and always so generous in giving constructive feedbacks. I also appreciate that Breathe puts safety of their students as their top priority; always making sure that we perform choreo/tricks within our limits. At Breathe, you definitely find something that will cater to your needs with the array of styles available - from ballet to contemporary, flying through the air in Air-O-Pole to slithering along the floor in Floorflow tease/burlesque to the elusive rock. If dancing is not your thing, the tech classes and stretch sessions will burn your muscles just the same. Best of all, the instructors are awesome, supportive and generous in dispensing tips & advice. The instructors know that each student's pole journey is different but they will be with them each step of the way without rushing them, allowing the student to proceed at their own pace and build the strength to execute each move safely. You'll learn something new each time, I know I did

Breathe has a team of warm and friendly instructors each well-versed in pole and dance respectively. They focus on proper techniques and the safety of students is never compromised. They have also successfully built a positive learning community for students. It has always been a pleasure taking classes here!

A great place to embark pole journey as they provide a wide range of classes that suits your individual needs. Everyone is friendly and helpful but special shout-out to Tania and Farhana for being the greatest instructors! Super thankful ️

Relatively new studio with very experienced and meticulous pole instructors who are also professional dancers that come up with many new in-house choreographies every term! Had been taking classes with some of the instructors for 3 years, even before they started this place and I've never felt stagnant as they continue to challenge themselves to try new things and evolved to become better as we (their students) get better! That said, they do not just offer classes for people with background in pole dance or any dance background at all as there are multiple levels of classes and genres available, including dance classes without pole and adult ballet. It's a great place for both beginners looking to try their hand (or leg) at dancing and the more experienced looking for a happy place to dance their hearts away!
