Block 16 Bedok South Market & Food Centre reviews
69Sad its not as ctowded like before. Many stalls closed early. Wonder where has the crowd gone to?
I like those outdoors flea market and mist especially i only ate at this fishballs food stall
Great variety of food. You & Me Coffee is the best kopi and teh place in SG. There is one good mala store. The fried kway teow place is famous. The zhi cha is cheap and tasty, we eat there almost every week. Maggi goreng is delicious too. And many more
Got all the good old times foods to pick, well ventilated. Parking lots may not enough during morning peak time.
Neighbourhood market hawker center and wet market. Hawker stalls crowded during weekdays lunch hours.
Went there for my brunch. Have the Korean food there, just so so. The duck rice is nice according to my cousin. There is a dessert stall, aunties there are nice. Got a stall selling fried dough (you tiao) which used to be at Bedok 538 market.
Hawker centre that have good prawns n fish ball noodles n a wide variety of veg n chicken for your cooking needs
One of my favourite hawker centre. All my friends like this place. Something for everyone. Prices are ridiculously cheap. One dollar youtiaos and 3 dollar noodles and lontong.
Wide variety of food to choose from… Malay food, my favorite is the Nasi Padang from the stall “Warong (something-sorry cannot remember) ” Is a stall that have to packet (take out) a pack home even if I have other food (dine in) … Their chili is the best…
This renovated hawker is very clean and sell alot of good food. From very good chicken rice, to popular and super long q ckt and loving the fishball noodles. Coffee beside the fishball noodles is super cheap and nice
It's a mistake as I missed my bus stop at
East coast for Beach rd prawn noodies.
End up for my morning breakfast of LongTong & ginger tea. Not de best but pass. However I hv seen queues on a few stalls. It's still a busy Food centre.
This is a neighbourhood center with market, hawker center, coffee shops and shops. Weekend morning is always crowded. Things are cheaper than in town central.
Used to have so much great food here, but many hawker has already retired due to old age. What's great as of moment would be:
Koon kee braised duck store along same stretch as the soya milk store. Do not miss their roast pork as well!
Blue lagoon western food on 3rd row! Pasta and black pepper chicken rice, fish and chip worth trying.
Avoid 东风破 chicken rice store, which starts to become very stingy on their portion and quality of theie chicken.
After a revamped, it get really crowded at time. Many good foods still worth the Q. N they implemented a return tray for 50cents system. Im not sure is that a good idea as i see many bowls n plates n cup occupied the table as i guess not easy to returns it if not many people opp for a tray. Many "old stores" loses their "shines" of their old days, taste wise gone bad, the prawn noodles that once "popular", the fish ball noodles, ah wah rojak, 传承 seafood soup n Lou mee, really really not recommended. Really bad now. Malay nasi pandang getting "overpriced". Prata only long Q during weekends, normal day nothing (not sure people are just Q for the sake of Q) cos really no goods anymore (unless u are eating it out of "traditions"). I would recommend BLK 201 hawker centre instead for reasonable price and good foods.
Always go for the Hill Street Char Kway Teow when I am there. Most of the time there's a queue forming, but is worth the wait. Other than that, the youtiao (fried dough fritters) is also good, and the stall will close once they are sold out, usually by lunch time. Hence, good to be there before lunch time. Dessert stall in the middle also sells tapioca in coconut milk which is now less common in hawker centre dessert stalls (can request to add palm sugar/gula melaka for 20c for the extra oophm taste). Fruit juice stall opposite Hill Street CKT offers a lot of variety of mixed fruit juice) and value for money.
Lots of delicious food choices. Do take note of the lunch crowd as the near by JC will dine here.
The Japanese stall is very good and charge reasonable prices.
There are numerous items to choose from and the food is nice and tasty.
Look for soy sauce HK chicken, yum. So soft you can eat by even if you are toothless. Take note old foggies!

Bedok South food centre was great during early hour. Only handful of people visited the place. Security on health and safety issues are there and i think that place are safe for family eating corner
