The ambience of the store is incredible, going along with the beautiful collection of guitars, but all of that cannot compare to the world class service provided. Godfrey is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this place enough if you love guitars.

Best acoustic guitar shop in Singapore, maybe best in Asia. Great service, great hospitality, great guitar quality and offering reasonable price. What else do you expect? Highly recommend you go there if you are interested in purchasing high-end acoustic guitars.

Godfrey takes the time to understand what you're looking for in a guitar, and educates you if you want to learn more. Yes the guitars are good and they sound lovely, but for me, it is the personal service of Godfrey that won me over. This will be my go to for all my future guitar needs

The whole experience was just AMAZING! From the time you are greeted with a really nice and relaxed ambience when you enter the shop, you'll truly enjoy your experience. I enjoyed having the space and time to try the guitars in the private room upstairs, being offered drinks along the way and just having really genuine and sincere conversations there. The guitars are definitely superb and even the after service is really incredible. I brought my guitar back 3 months after I got it for a setup and also to dehumidify the guitar.

Excellent service all round. Tailored experience from booking your appointment to after sales services. I went with 2 of my friends and we ended up buying two guitars.

Surath handpicked four guitars for us to try besides having an array of guitars at the back of the room which was available for us to try.

There was no pressure on us to make any purchase and Surath even gave us a demonstration of the strengths and characteristics of the guitars.

We spent time to try the guitars being plugged in and also unplugged and had room for ourselves to discuss and make our own decisions.

The Furch I got is a master build and I just love the sound of it. Btw this is my second time here, my previous visit was when they were in bukit timah and it's been many years since but Surath's service hasn't changed one bit and is as excellent as ever.

You could probably buy a guitar from anywhere, but no where else would you be able to experience the First Class service of this place. From the moment you step in you are greeted like a VIP, and treated without condescension. If you've bought guitars before you know how some sales reps are full of pseudo rockstar ego and look down on all their customers. Not here. Bernard Godfrey is 100% sincere, and would patiently help you find the best guitar for your needs, and as a huge bonus the prices of their guitars are competitive.

This place has a set of unique and beautiful guitars, a zen-like ambience to try them out in, and Surath is as kind and knowledgeable a shop owner as you'll find anywhere. 100% worth checking out, if for nothing else than the excellent coffee Surath makes!

Godfrey is amazingly patient and client focused, and based on my preferences he also introduced me to a furch model which I fell in love with.

Spent a little bit over 2 hours there (unintentionally, time just passes way too quickly when you’re having fun) and left an excited and satisfied owner of a new guitar. ️

If you go there, confirm you will want to buy everything! (Be smart though, bring your old guitar there and see if you can do a trade in!)

PS: after sales service is better than most cars you buy nowadays.

Really nice host who knows a lot of things about guitars. Spent about 2 hours just trying different guitars. He gave me a lot of choices and time to try all the guitars that he thinks will interest me. He even changed one of the guitar strings just for me so that I can see the difference between the two woods! In terms of price, it is very reasonable. A lot of famous, high end brands there too.

I was actually very surprised with the quiet and relaxing environment when testing the guitars. And I really recommend you to consider this place if you want to try good and high-end guitars!

The hospitality is unparalleled, as you are given a warm welcome and offered drinks (whisky, coffee, beer, water etc.), as well as being provided with a relaxed, comfortable and zero-pressure environment.

Surath (Bernard Godfrey) is incredibly personable, kind and patient. His extensive knowledge and love for guitars is contagious. He always puts the customer first, has your best intentions in mind and really listens to your needs and requests. He is always attentive to helping you find the guitar you are looking for but will equally let you get on with doing your own thing.
