We had engaged BDAS to help train us for our wedding dance video. Ryan was assigned to teach us, after we had decided on a choreography. Ryan was a great instructor who is patient and able to teach and demonstrate both the male and female parts. It is very much to his credit that we were able to dance the chosen choreography, especially when I have never danced before in my life, unlike my fiance.

Unfortunately, Ryan was unable to be with us on the day of actual filming, but he had arranged for Alan to instruct us and to help oversee our video performance. Alan was super encouraging and professional, smiling all the time and doing the ra-ra for us to calm us down, and also to give tips on where we had not done too well at the various takes. Alan was also very professional having memorised the choreography though he has never instructed us before, being able to demonstrate the dance moves and also the proper timing of the dance moves.

Will strongly recommend BDAS for dance instructions!

BDAS is an excellent dance school to pick up dancing. It offers many different opportunities to work on what you would like to focus on, whether socially, competitively or for performances.

I have trained under many teachers like Cheryl, Arkady, Ryan, Scarlette and others. They are all friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to help me if I needed it. Of course, the quality of teaching is also exceptional.

The atmosphere of the place is a warm and encouraging one. It's a great place to make new friends and bond over your interest in dance at the studio.

After moving to Singapore around a year ago, have been coming to this studio ever since. Great community, welcoming all dancers of all levels with a great focus on excellence and improvement. Have made great friends whilst improving my dance. Would recommend to anyone interested in dancing or has danced before.

Thanks to the instructors and senior students, I had a satisfying experience in Beginners 1 and now I am looking forward to progressing further in Beginners 2. In my opinion, there's no point going to studios that are deemed to be more established if you're not going to benefit from the classes. At BDAS, you have instructors and seniors who are genuinely patient and want to aid you in grasping dance techniques. Come see for yourself!

The Teachers are international and have endless energy and passion leading the classes. The exposure my son has experienced is priceless. The I have seen my son’s dancing improve by leaps and bounds. And there’s always plenty of smiles and warmth and happiness at the studio. An oasis of Dancesport, tucked away into a beautiful modern studio in Sims Ave. It’s Amazing!

It doesn´t matter if you are a total Beginner or an advanced Dancer, if you prefer Ballroom or Latin Dances, everyone will find a matching class at the Academy. Everyone is super friendly, helpful, patient and motivating. I enjoy all my classes and can highly recommend this dance school:)

Great place and people - we've been fortunate to have met a few of the dance teachers, including Ryan, Scarlette, Cheryl and Arkady, all extremely talented. They're very helpful and made a beginner like myself feel at ease, personal yet professional. Many time slots to choose from, including weekends, which is convenient!

I'm so glad I decided, on the spur of the moment, to join dance classes at the Ballroom Dance Academy. Our instructor, Alan, puts us at ease immediately. Our classes are full of fun and laughter. I'm blessed to have a nice group of classmates. The Academy is clean and comfortable, brightly-lit and cosy. I'll keep attending classes in the foreseeable future.

The instructors are professional and are very patience in teaching. Highly recommended if you want to learn Latin and/or Ballroom dance.

I joined the beginner 1 class last month and I immediately knew I wanted to continue as far as i could. The teachers are incredibly patient and supportive and make sure that you’re comfortable and don’t feel overwhelmed. They also respond promptly to queries and are extremely helpful with procuring dancing shoes and other paraphernalia. On the whole it’s an extremely warm and comforting environment with no judgement and definitely worth checking out!

My wife and I loved our first experience together at a ballroom class at BDAS. Arkady is very professional and gives alot of attention to every couple/individual even if it is a group class. Pleasant experience and looking forward to attend further lessons here for sure.:)
