Mechatronic out again in 1 yr 7 months. When called was told it was a known issue for VW MK7 and warranty is for 1 year only.
Got the Mechatronic fixed for 2.5K at AMK. Hopefully will last more than 1 year 7 months.

Fixed aircon at Sin Ming in 1 day for 850 far cry from the $1890 before GST quoted with a 64.20 just to check.

Started noticing charges are getting a bit higher thought I do a comparison test which I never did for the past 3 years. Lazy/ignorant/stupidity has a price and I deserve what I got. Aircon not working got quoted a coil replacement for S$1890 vs another repair shop within the same area for S$1,400. Got charged $64.20 just to diagnose vs 0 from the same near by repair shop.

No judgement just stating facts. Aug 26th '21 car broke down on PIE with full Christmas lighting warning signs with faults in Tire Pressure Monitoring Sys, Stabilization Control, Brake Servo, Hill Hold Assist, ProActive Occupant Protection, Electronic Parking Brake, Adaptive Front Lighting etc. Sep 8th '21 got billed $2,700.68 majority cost being Engine ECU $2,320.00. Sep 15th '21 7 days later, Car broke down again almost the same spot at PIE with to me the same warning signs. Sep 20th '21 got billed for $2,953.20 for Mechatronic Replacement. Nov 11th '21 52 days later, fortunately this time was after a long drive to Jurong could not start up again once parked with the same warning signs. Nov 12th '21 billed $292.75 after begging for 5% discount for inconvenience. This time was for Engine wire replacement for ECU, Mechatronic, Engine Bay and interior harness. Running total $5,946.63 so lets see if I will get fourth time lucky. One important note Tow cost if paid in cash is 40 but will go up to 60 if paid by them.

Service is always friendly. Keeps me updated on what's happening to my car there. Gives options on what to do and what needs to be done.

Parts are original Audi and price is cheaper than Audi Service centre and given extra 20% discount for members. Service is fast send 10 am and collect at 2 pm. Good deal

Visited the workshop and they have given comprehensive view but to certain extend accelerated view

A6 had a knocking sound from undercarriage while turning up and down sloping. First visit to Avantage didn't fix the problem (after changing mouting). Went back to them after 1 week and finally fix it (after changing steering intermediate shaft). Generally good service. Didn't get 5 stars from my case because I think they should have checked properly during first visit and if problem persists after the first part changed, should discuss with owner whether to proceed with second part changed, rather than discharged the car back to owner. Having to visit car workshop twice within one week is not a pleasant experience. Would be excellent if can provide transport to nearby MRT or offer a cab voucher.
