1345 Mookata reviews
35 Decent authentic Thai Mookata hidden in industrial area. Located in a coffeeshop so it's all about the food itself.
Update for the current location: same great taste but a much better and cozier place!
Great place for mookata. Was worried about the price as some reviews mentioned it was expensive but I think for the quantity given its not an issue. Great ambiance to have mookata at.
Prompt and cheerful service! We liked the salted egg marinade best. Ingredients are fresh and the two pieces of pork fat enabled us to clean the mookata hot plate efficiently. I wanted to say kudos to the super efficient and hardworking young Indian server on duty! Pointed us to the self service aspects of the restaurant and bustled around clearing, cleaning and addressing customers’ needs
Been eating since they were at bukit Batok crescent. Thick slices of fresh meat. Have to always order their basil pork - well marinated. Love that there’s option for a platter therefore you wouldn’t need to decide what to order. Prawns are always fresh. Fish offered in the platter is dory fish.
Happy there was a good price for beer bucket of Singha beers. Previously beverages pricing was on the high side.
Super chill ambience, doesn’t feel like sg. Good ventilation as the tables are located in a “wind tunnel”.
Super overpriced mookata.
I could’ve order more dish at other mookata place.
Not recommended.
Mookata Food is very fresh. Which it's most important. Service was top level and the atmosphere was very good. Will definitely visit again!
Great food. New location beside ayer rajah cc. More tables and even more cozy than previous. Their food standard maintained as good as previous. Definitely going back again to eat
Customer service was awesome. Very fast service. Ambience was the best. Chilly place. Good price for set. It’s enough for two. Soup not too salty, meat and vegetables are nice. Very satisfied, will totally come again!
When I went there during my visit, thankfully there were still empty tables because there was a company function of sorts going on. The prices are reasonable and it is tucked away in a quiet spot. U much have the whole place to yourself.
Excellent service from a waitress there, easy helpful hardworking thoughtful. Food is great for the pricing. Value for money.
Airy and comfortable outdoor dining, attentive staff with fast & good service. The chilli sauce as we read about from the reviews didn't disappoint us. It was indeed good and goes well with the meat. We will visit again.
Ordered a set platter at $34.8.chilling weather as raining today to go with Mookata.
Didn't feel any MSG after finished the food and soup.
The chills sauce is refreshing and tasty, a must to go with food and rice, won't get disappointment.
Nice food and friendly staff.
After it has shifted to new location, the ambience was even better.
Best mookata.
Same operator, same great taste, same menu, same great service, same awesome vibe, and therefore you should come back all the same! Oh, did I mention that the new place looks much cleaner and open? It makes the dining experience all the more enjoyable!
Usually my 'go to' mookata is at golden Mile. Others I have tried are hollow attempts at selling a gimmick without adding any effort in marinate or sauces.
Came here spontaneously with a bunch of friends and were REALLY impressed. While the customers would benefit from a couple of standing fans around.that's about the only negative I can say. The dishes are pretty damn legit.
I tried all three marinates: black pepper, MALA, basil and they were all pretty good. Basil was something I didn't expect to be so well favoured.
I can see how black pepper wld easily be the most popular as it works so well with the meats.
The mala was decent and would appeal to Mala fans but it is gentle and not overpowering.
I am narrowing it down to three dishes u simply HAVE to try.
The minced meat patty thing is awesome (Be patient and let it char. REALLY), the pork belly is great, and the beef is good too. Their price is really reasonable ($8-$12) for the many chunks of meat u get.
For sauces they have your standard green nam jim, and another red chilli (my least favourite but good effort blending Mae Pranom sweet chilli sauce with other ingredients so it didn't taste totally generic)
Also I find the sincerity of the staff endearing. They seem quite young? They are really helpful and attentive. I really wish them the best and hope they are doing well and continue to do well.
Great job guys, u have given me and my buds a new place to hangout after tennis.
(Dang! We were SO HUNGRY We didn't take ANY PHOTOS!)
Food is delicious and affordable, service is fast even on a busy weekend night, convenient parking spaces.
Fantastic dining place for families and friends.easy parking.many seats available.service fast and attentive
Great mookata! Portions are big and I'm glad to be here earlier on Saturday evening. Quite crowded. 5pax dine in.meat is marinated nicely. Prefer the chicken and pork to the beef though.
Very good marination for the meat, some flavour are not common elsewhere.
The sauce is pretty standard.
The set is very value for money, just need to top up a little more for goodies like Prawn Paste and more meat for meat lovers.
Highly recommend the tomyum chicken and mala chicken, very flavourful without being overly gao good place!
